It's all over as Lewis Hamilton takes the win and with it, his 3rd World Championship.

FINAL LAP and Vettel's still ready to pounce on Rosberg for P2!

Solid racing from BOTH Toro Rossos today. Sainz gets Button and Verstappen's in P4 behind Vettel, who is trying to get Rosberg.

Alonso is agitated again. "If we're not in the points, I'm coming in (for new tyres)" he says.

Back to racing.. and Hamilton seizes the lead back from Rosberg, who's now in P2. Vettel takes Verstappen to go P3, after Rosberg runs wide to lose his lead.

Hamilton pits after the safety car, but so does Vettel - quite unexpectedly. Max Verstappen currently rounds off the podium!

Hamilton has the lead but needs to pit for new tyres, and his advantage is now wiped out after Daniil Kvyat crashes, bringing out another safety car.

Ricciardo also has damage, but he tells Red Bull crew he'll "stay out" on the track.

Sauber's Marcus Ericsson stalls by the side of the track, bringing out the Virtual Safety Car in Lap 27. Most drivers use the opportunity to pit for new tyres.

Kimi Raikkonen retires, joining the Williams of Felipe Massa and Valtteri Bottas, and Lotus' Romain Grosjean.

Ferrari have now joined the melee as Sebastian Vettel makes it up to P4 from near the back of the grid.

Mercedes and Red Bull in a fight to the death now as Rosberg takes P1 right back.

And Daniel Ricciardo reels him in! He's in the lead ahead of Lewis Hamilton.

A very uncharacteristic day for Kimi Raikkonen, who's very emotional. "Why don't I have the DRS," he shouts angrily.

Two retirements in the race so far; Will Stevens of Manor retires first, followed by Valtteri Bottas of Williams, who retires with a rear suspension failure.

Nico Rosberg gets Daniel Ricciardo and now he's caught Ricciardo's teammate Daniil Kvyat as well.

The stage looks set for Hamilton to take his 2nd consecutive drivers' championship and 3rd overall.

Hamilton follows Rosberg in P2, with a good performance by both Red Bull drivers; Ricciardo and Kvyat are in P3 and P4 respectively.

A strong showing for Mercedes today at the Circuit of the Americas; Lewis Hamilton went fastest in practice, but Rosberg has taken pole.
