Nico Rosberg of Mercedes goes quickest in Q2 with Lewis Hamilton behind him. They're followed by both Red Bulls, Ricciardo and Kvyat.

Chequered flags are out. Both McLarens and both Lotus drivers are out, along with Bottas.

And Daniil Kvyat sounds distressed on team radio, tells Red Bull crew it's "very dangerous out here, guys." He'll pit now.

Under 3 minutes to go in Q2 and neither Lotus has made it through, with both McLarens also in the bottom 5 with Williams' Valtteri Bottas.

Kimi Raikkonen sounds audibly uncomfortable as his Ferrari spins all over the place in the extremely wet conditions.

Daniil Kvyat in an almighty spin at the CoTA and he's not the only one - so are Massa and Kimi Raikkonen.

End of Q1 and Daniel Ricciardo sets the fastest time.. with Vettel just about managing to move to Q2.

Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo went P1 and has now dropped to P2, only 0.3s behind leader Hamilton.

12 minutes to go for the session and there's been a crash with Carlos Sainz Jr. of Toro Rosso spinning out. That's the end of his qualifying, with red flags out.

Hurricane Patricia has been moving through the area, and led to FP2 being cancelled with Hamilton leading a very wet FP3.

Only two drivers on the current F1 grid have won the US Grand Prix - Lewis Hamilton, the reigning champion, and Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel.
