FULL-TIME: Barcelona 3-0 Las Palmas

Three second-half goals (two from Messi and one from Busquets) sees the Catalan club extend their lead at the top of La Liga to five points - in an empty Camp Nou.

90+2' Suareeezzz... WIDE! A beautiful ball from Messi finds Suarez in the box but his right-footed shot goes wide.

The Uruguayan striker even rips his shirt apart in frustration and he has to go back to the bench for a new one!

88' Messi finds his way into the box and picks out Rakitic completely free. But the Croatian takes a touch instead of taking it first-time and that allows a defender to come across and block the shot.

85' Tannaneee.... MISSES! He had the opportunity to deny Barcelona a clean sheet in the box but his shot is wide of the far post. Ter Stegen may not have had it covered if it was on target.

SUBSTITUTION: Iniesta, who came on as a half-time substitute, has been withdrawn with Andre Gomes taking his place. He may have pulled a muscle as he was moving around gingerly.

84' There's less than 10 minutes to go and Barcelona have a 3-0 lead but they still persist with the press with Messi camped near the Las Palmas box in an attempt to force the goalkeeper into errors when he receives the ball.

80' Free-kick to Barcelona and Messi stands over it. However, he walks over it and allows Suarez to take the shot. He tries to curl it in to the inside of the right post but the shot goes just wide of the target.

79' What a save! Iniesta was almost through on goal but Chichizola sprints off his line to deny the Spaniard a shot on goal. If this was 2-3 years ago then we'd have seen Iniesta get to it faster and putting it in the back of the net.

A quick attack from Barcelona sees Rakitic and Suarez work together to slip the ball through to Messi whose calm finish finds the back of the net with ease. That's surely 3 points in the bag.

74' A Las Palmas corner kick sees Ter Stegen come out and punch it clear for a throw-in. He's not taking any chances.

Meanwhile, a Catalan supporter was just escorted off the field by stewards after he had invaded the pitch to show his support for the referendum.

An incisive through-ball from Denis Suarez sees Messi receive the ball right in front of the goalkeeper. Chichizola goes down to stop him and Messi easily rounds him to fire it home into an empty net.

70' GOOOAAALLL! Barcelona 2-0 Las Palmas

69' Messi... MISSES! He had a clean shot on goal but it's deflected at the last moment for a corner kick.

66' Barcelona playing a 4-4-2 now with Suarez and Messi leading the line. They alternate on who plays in the advanced role and even swap positions to give the midfield four options to pass.

62' Lemos is quick to react to a surging run from Suarez and strips him of the ball, initiating a Las Palmas counter-attack. But Barcelona are quick to recover and get bodies behind the ball. Barca's pressing game is top-notch and a frustrated Viera tries to shoot from distance with the shot going well wide.

58' Free kick to Barcelona! Rakitic tries to skip past four Las Palmas players but he's eventually brought down a couple of yards outside the box. It's in Messi territory but they take it quickly to try and get the ball to Suarez inside the box who was juuust offside.

56' So close! Suarez tries to pick out Messi with a lobbed ball towards the penalty spot but his header is just wide of the post. That could easily have been 2-0.

55' Free-kick for Las Palmas and it's Lemos standing over it. It's a long way out. The Uruguayan defender takes a long run-up to fire a rocket on goal but it's wide of Ter Stegen's right post.

51' Suarez runs into the box with the ball and he's one-on-one with the keeper. He tries to round the keeper but falls in the box. Is that a penalty?

No! The referee pulls out a yellow card for diving! He was tripped initially but he was definitely not tripped by the keeper.

The corner-kick sees Messi whip the ball into the six-yard box and Sergio Busquets is first to it with a strong header before Chichizola can punch it away. 1-0 to the home side.

49' GOOOAAALLL! Barcelona 1-0 Las Palmas

48' SAVE! Barcelona have changed gears and are threatening to score. Rakitic tries to volley from distance and it dips dangerously, thwarted by the keeper in the end for a corner.

47' Free-kick for Barcelona as Luis Suarez is fouled 25m from goal. Messi takes the free-kick and yet again Chichizola makes a great save by diving to his left.

Half-time substitutions: Andres Iniesta and Ivan Rakitic are on for Paulinho and Aleix Vidal.

HALF-TIME: Barcelona 0-0 Las Palmas

There's even yellow cards at the end of the half for Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba as they protest the referee's decision to allow Calleri to escape a booking.

45' Calleri is everywhere! But this time he's guilty of fouling Roberto. A 50-50 ball sees Calleri trying to kick it away but Roberto was diving forward to head it clear. He makes contact with Roberto's face and he goes down.

43' Calleriiii... OFF THE POST! He does so well to make the correct run and takes the shot first time from the pass from Tannane. Ter Stegen was beaten but the ball ricochets off the base of the post. Excellent move from Las Palmas.

42' Calleri again who sends the ball over the top of the Barca defence after spotting a run but Tr Stegen comes out of his box to boot the ball up field.

41' Calliri is making a nuisance of himself in Barca's half and he easily overpowers Mascherano to get ahead of him with the ball. But his cross into the box is hurried and he doesn't pick out a single teammate with the cross sailing past everyone.

39' Messi, sidestepping one, two, three... He's taking them all on on his own with no option for a pass but the last defender finally stops him much to the goalkeeper's relief.

37' Johanthan Viera is making his presence felt as he presses Barcelona out on the left and even wins the ball back in Barca's half before losing out under pressure. He's still won his side a throw-in though.

35' YELLOW CARD!

Gerard Pique gets booked now as he tries to pull Calleri back in an attempt to stop a Las Palmas attack. He almost pulled his shorts off of him in the process.

Paulinho goes into the book for a foul on Chichizola. Paulinho tries to block a pass from the goalkeeper and ends up taking out his feet from under him.

This just after he rose in the box to head home Roberto's cross but misses the target.

28' So close for Las Palmas! Sergi Roberto tracks Calleri's run into the box and intercepts a delicious through-ball from Aquilani just in time.

25' Tannane goes for the spectacular for Las Palmas as he lets fly from yards out but it's a comfortable low save for Ter Stegen.

22' Suarez to... Suarez. Luis tries to find Denis so he can go one-on-one but Las Palmas goalkeeper Chichizola comes out to deny him an open shot on goal. Quick thinking from the goalkeeper there.

21' Messiiii... SAVED! A free-kick opportunity sees the Argentine forward float one into the top corner only to see Chichizola punch it clear. Suarez tries to take a shot on goal from the rebound but it is blocked.

20' PENALTY? Nope!

Luis Suarez drifts wide which allows Vidal to cut inside. The Uruguayan striker lobs the ball in his direction but Vidal goes down in the box after a challenge. The referee has none of it, though.

18' Jordi Alba whips in a dangerous cross into the box but it's intercepted and Las Palmas counter now. Barca win it back as they enter the final third and it's Barca's turn to counter now. Messi makes a run at the defence but loses out under pressure, leading to a throw-in.

The game has certainly opened up now.

15' Luis Suarez picks out Vidal on the right side but Herrera is up to the task of stopping him in his tracks, winning the ball back with ease.

14' Barcelona content with passing the ball and keeping possession for now. Las Palmas are playing a 4-3-3 formation with a back-line that's playing very high up the pitch.

Such a weird atmosphere at the Camp Nou. The stadium can seat almost 100,000 fans but the vast emptiness means you can hear each and everything that happens on the pitch - player calls, every pass, every shot, every block - everything!

9' Suareeeezzzz... Blocked! No, wait, he was offside! Messi slips the ball through to Luis Suarez who made his run just a bit too early.

8' Lionel Messi leads a Barcelona attack and tries to find Denis Suarez on the left. However, the cutback is intercepted and the attack comes to nothing.

Josep Bartomeu: "We are playing behind closed doors as a protest at what has happened, not for security reasons. Mossos have guaranteed security."

Not sure Barcelona fans would agree with you there, Mr President! Locking out fans is not the answer.

5' Las Palmas are on the attack again but Borja makes a mess of it. His shot from distance is very wide. Had there been a crowd they would have cheered that wayward effort.
