Real Madrid will look upon that game as a real disaster, as they did not manage to score despite 25 shots. Zinedine Zidane's side threw the kitchen sink and then some at Betis with Antonio Adan having the game of his life in goal, but a sucker-punch from Antonio Sanabria has now handed Barcelona the advantage in La Liga.

80' Tello looks to have run clear of Madrid's defence while controlling a long ball, but the Bernabeu breathes a sigh of relief as the former Barca man is offside.

79' Joaquin comes on to replace Fabian for Real Betis, taking the armband as well. Quique Setien is really going for the jugular here.

66' Jeers ring out at the Bernabeu as Real Betis defender Antonio Barragan is down with a head injury after being pushed by Casemiro into the path of Feddal.

65' Carvajal with another blocked cross after excellent play from Ronaldo, Bale and Modric find him in space on the right. Moments later, Kroos hammers a swerving shot from range, and Adan gets his fingertips to the ball to concede a corner. Madrid, unsurprisingly, are unable to fashion a chance from the set-piece.

62' SUPERB FOOTBALL! Ronaldo and Gareth Bale combine brilliantly on the edge of the box, with the Welshman producing an ingenious backheel, with Ronaldo going down under pressure from Barragan. The ref waves play on and is jeered by the Bernabeu. I've seen them given, but that would have been generous.

53' Marcelo and Dani Carvajal's days seem to have worsened after both make a mess of yet another chance to cross from the wings.

46' Madrid are right on the attack, with Ronaldo almost sending Kroos into the box with a clever backheel, but Barragan is alert and clears the ball.
