De Telegraaf in the Netherlands has reported that former Manchester United defender Jaap Stam is the frontrunner to replace Bob Bradley at Swansea. Stam currently manages Reading - who are sitting strong in 3rd position in the championship. This was in contrast to Sky Sports reporting that Ryan Giggs was the frontrunner to manage the Welsh outfit.

Bilbao defender successfully operated upon
Athletic Bilbao's young defender Yeray Alvarez, who was diagnosed with testicular cancer last week, has successfully undergone a surgical procedure.
Yeray underwent an orchiectomy and Athletic described the procedure "passing without incident.”
