An exciting game of football ends in a draw as defending champions Aizawl FC manage to secure a point at the YBK Stadium in Kolkata. East Bengal started the second half on a strong note and scored two goals in a space of six minutes but Aizawl's persistence paid off with William Lalnunfela scoring a brace that included the equalizer at the death. Spoils shared here in Kolkata to the disappointment of the large number of KEB fans at the stadium.

90+4' - AIZAWL SCORE AT THE DEATH!!!! The champions have shown their mettle in the end!!! The corner at the last minute falls to William after a goalmouth scramble and he slots it in to the misery of the home fans and Khalid Jamil as KEB looked set to win the match but Aizawl spoil the party.

90+3' - Muankima cuts in from the right and lets go an effort that is dealt with by the KEB keeper who gloves it away and the ball goes out for a corner as East Bengal aim to hold the lead in the dying seconds.

90+3' - Katsumi Yusa has been adjudged the Hero of the Match for his performance.

90+2' - Charles is brought down by two Aizawl midfielders in the centre of the pitch as he tried to shield the ball and gets tangled by the Northeast lads.

90' - Four minutes of added time has been indicated by the fourth official as the score stand 2-1 in favor of the home side as Aizawl look for a late equalizer.

73' - GOALL!!! Aizawl pull one back!! A free-kick from way out taken by David who floats in a ball and Alfred Jaryan connects with it and puts it across the KEB goal where William Lalnunfela is open to head the ball into the empty goal. Game On here at the YBK!!!

71' - GOALL!!! KEB get their second on the night. Yusa plays it to Rafique in the midfield who has a go from way out and his shot rebounds off Katsumi Yusa and beats the hapless Avilash Paul in the Aizawl goal. Lucky goal for East Bengal but well-deserved for their efforts.

65' - AND THEY'VE SCORED FINALLYY!!!
Eduardo Ferreira scores the goal after a flick from Brandon on a Yusa corner from the right. The ball comes off the crossbar and goes over the line as the unmarked Ferreira had a open goal to put the ball in.

64' - East Bengal have been throwing everything that they possess at Aizawl FC but the keeper Avilash Paul in the goal has been the lone man who has kept the score intact so far. Great persistence from the keeper.

62' - Yusa breaks away on a counter and tries to find Plaza but the tackle comes in and the ball falls to Yusa again, he puts in a through ball for Al-Amna but the touch is a little bit too heavy and Aizawl escape again.

61' - All KEB again as a scramble in the Aizawl box almost put Plaza in position for a goal but the Aizawl defense have been like a rock in front of the Trinidadian.

57' - PLAZA!! A cross from the left reaches the point man for KEB who gets a powerful header in but Paul is up to the task and makes a incredible save to keep out the home side again.

56' - A good move on the left wings orchestrated by the Syrian Al-Amna but the cross from Plaza is wayward and Brandon tries to reach it but it gets cleared by the defense.

53' - Al-Amna gets brought down by two Aizawl defenders and calls to the referee for a penalty but the man-in-charge does not deem it fit for a spot-kick.

51' - Chance at the other end!! Aizawl break on the counter and a delivery from the left falls to the striker but the shot is blocked and East Bengal break again with Al-Amna leading the way for KEB.

50' - Avilash Paul almost commits a grave error. Comes out off his line to clear a ball but it falls to Rafique whose shot is not up to the mark and Aizawl stay alive again. KEB are going all-out for the deadlock-breaker.

48' - Another chance for KEB as Al-Amna puts Brandon through on the right and his cross inside the box is in a dangerous position but Aizawl clear it for a corner. Promising by East Bengal.

47' - CHANCE!! A long-ball from the KEB defense causes trouble for the away side as Saighani manages to keep the ball away from Brandon after Paul has rushed in off his line.

46' - East Bengal start the second half aggressively as Brandon puts in a cross for Al Amna who heads in but the ball is wide off the target.

45' - The second half kicks off as Aizawl begin the proceedings with the score at 0-0. If the first half is anything to go by, we are in for an attacking treat in the second half as well.

The first half comes to an end as we have witnessed a half of end-to-end action with both teams going on the offensive. Plaza, the Trinidadian forward for KEB has come close on a couple of occasions but Avilash Paul and the post have kept the score intact for the Northeast side. 45+2' - In what could be the last action of the half, Yusa puts in a ball after a foul on the right wing but the Aizawl defense clears it for safety.

45+1' - Saighani is booked by the ref for handling the ball from David's delivery as he extended his arms while jumping for the header.

44' - Jaryan is brought down by Ferreira on the left wing as David gets ready to take the set-piece as two minutes of time has been added to the first-half.

43' - Rinzuala goes into the ref's books for a rash tackle on Brandon; the Aizawl man absolutely clattered his former teammate.

Mehtab Singh, the right back makes way for Lalram Chullova as Khalid Jamil makes his first change of the match.

34' - CLOSE!!! Plaza is in the thick of things again as he unleashes a shot from outside the box after turning a couple of defenders but his effort comes off the right post and Aizawl heaves a sigh of relief.

30' - Half an hour mark is reached in the encounter as the score stands 0-0 with both sides looking well set now with the home side having more chances but Aizawl looking dangerous on the counter as well.

27' - Katsumi Yusa goes on the prowl along the right wing but his cross is not up to the mark as Paul collects it with ease.

24' - Both the sides have been scrappy in their approach looking for openings in the defense as the midfield battle rages on at the YBK with the teams operating to their strengths.

18' - Brandon breaks out away in a corner with scintillating speed and is then brought down by Aizawl skipper Jaryan as the players crowd the referee who shows the first yellow card of the night for the tackle.

13' - CLOSE!!! Plaza again involved in the thick of things as he gets the ball after a ball from the left but Avilash Paul makes a diving save and Kareem follows up quickly with a clearance as the ball is punted away to safety.

11' - A corner from Aizawl by David is dealt with well by the KEB defense as the Northeast side have slowly gotten their bearings in the game and look confident on the ball.

9' - KEB right-back Mehtab goes down in what looks like a knock on his face and the physios are attending to him as there was some amount of blood involved after he clashed with an opponent.

7' - CHANCE!! Wilis Plaza receives the ball in the box from the right wing, turns and tries to attack the goal but his shot is blocked by the Aizawl defence and the keeper comes out to collect the loose ball.

3' - The early exchanges have seen the game mostly restricted to the center of the park with Al-Amna and Bazzou running things for the home side.

1' - And we've kicked off in Kolkata as East Bengal start the proceedings with the home side in the traditional Red and Gold jersey and the away Aizawl FC in white kits. East Bengal attack from the left to right in the first half.
