HALF TIME: India 2-1 England
35' India 2-1 England- On the counter-attack, England win a long passbut fail to capitalise. . Indians celebrate as the hosts go into the break with a one goal lead.
35' India 2-1 England- India's Parvinder leads the attack from the left, a string of passes finds Armaan in front of the goal and he makes no mistake to put the ball into the back of the net on the brink of half time. It was all but a perfect GOALLLLLLL!
32' India 1-1 England- Mandeep wins the penalty corner, Harmanpreet takes the shot but misses as it deflects past the right post. Second successive penalty corner for India but Harmanpreet fires it wide past the left post.
29' India 1-1 England- Armaan Quereshi is once again down from the left abut loses the ball on the run. England's Smith lacks support as he smashes the ball in next to the goal but it goes wide past the post.
27' India 1-1 England- England have had the ball for the past couple of minutes, and are trying to lead a build-up as Deepsan leads the defensive charge for India.
24' India 1-1 England- Golden chance for India as Mandeep wins the team a penalty corner. Varun shoots and misses, goes in for the reverse but yet again misses. But they maintain the attack and finally GOALLLLLLLLL! India level things up as Parvinder Singh executes a superb finish!
22' India 0-1 England- India searching for the leveller, have Harjeet pass the ball in the England D to Parvinder but he fails to get a touch.
20' India 0-1 England- Simranjeet works up the ball up, drives around the arc but exposes himself too much to the defender and hence loses the ball.
19' India 0-1 England- England go forward but are stopped in their tracks by Gurinder.
16' India 0-1 England- India are constantly trying to charge but have not been successful yet. The lead the stats in terms of possession but it's the England strikers who yet again put in a shot on goal but it's off target.
13' India 0-1 England- The visitors are defending well to keep the Indians at bay especially the likes of Mandeep who has a threatening presence near the baseline.
11' India 0-1 England- India on the counter attack, they surge ahead in numbers, a pass comes in front of the goal but Parvinder fails to tap the ball inside.
10' India 0-1 England- England lead the attack, glide through the midfield and it's a GOALLLLLL from Jack Lee as Dahiya fails to save the lethal attempt.
7' India 0-0 England- India are controlling the momentum of the match after the glitch at the very beginning. England get the rare ball, a deflection comes in front of the the goal but Vikas Dahiya makes a tidy save.
5' India 0-0 England- After the initial lapse in defence, Indian are prowling on attack, constantly making it inroads into the England D. Armaan leading the offensive.
3' India 0-0 England - Sumit on the counter attack for India's, turns and gets a shot on the goal but it hits the post.
1' India 0-0 England - England off to a tremendous start as they get a shot on goal early, sloppy defence on India's part.

Both the teams are out on the field, the national anthems will be sung as a show of respect before the match goes underway.
From the sidelines, a smiling coach Harendra Singh seems pretty confident as he says that his boys are well-prepared and eager to take to the field against England. Another Indian win on the cards?

The Indian colts take on the lads from England in the Pool D encounter at the Junior Hockey World Cup in Lucknow. Both teams are coming off wins from their previous encounters on the inaugural day. While, England thrashed South Africa 4-2 in what was a goal fest, India defeated Canada 4-0.
The Indian team, led by Harjeet Singh and coached by Harendra Singh will be looking to sustain the same momentum going into their second match. Their aim will be to not only secure a win but also maintain a clean sheet, which will help them finish on the top of Pool D and athereby avaoid a possible clash against defending champions Germany in the quarter-finals. In the previous match, the forward line comprising Mandeep Singh, Manpreet Junior and Armaan Qureshi combined well to trouble the Canadians, and they will be hoping to repeat the same attacking style of play against the England team. The defenders however will have to be a wary lot, and be careful not to concede easy penalty corners. For in Edward Horler, Engand have a dangerous drag-flicker who can make India pay for the mistakes. Stay tuned for the match is set to go underway 15 minutes from now, at 6 PM IST.
