Bengaluru FC win another game away from home as they climb to the top of the standings as they bank on a brace from former Mumbai City FC man Sunil Chettri and a goal by Miku. Leo Costa pulled one back for the home side but it was too little, too late.

45' - The second half is up and away as the home side look to cut down the one-goal lead taken by the Bengaluru FC side.

43' - Chettri scores!! The captain scores against his previous team with a calmly taken spot-kick into the left top corner.

42' - PENALTY!!! The ref awards a penalty for the away side as Chettri is brought down by Balwant in the box with a reckless shove in the box.

26' - Thiago Santos runs into the box from the middle but his shot is blocked and the rebound falls to Emana who has a go but it goes way over.

25' - Udanta is away on the right wing and cuts it in for the skipper Chettri who meets it first-time but straight into Amrinder's hands.

22' - Balwant Singh goes down and appeals for a penalty but the ref denies him. Ruidas collects the ball and takes a strong shot but it is blocked for a corner.

18' - Miku tests Amrinder with a low shot. The forward receives the ball from Rahul Bheke and manages to get away from Goian and takes a shot across the goal.

14' - Emana has a shot on target from just outside the box but Gurpreet dives and puts it out for a corner.

12' - Bengaluru have looked more threatening on the ball and Mumbai have tried to catch them on the counter.

7' - Emana breaks after intercepting a pass and he rushes towards the box and passes it to Balwant Singh who tries to cross but skies it over.

5' - Udanta gets the ball on the right and cuts in to lay a ball for the rushing Erik Paartaalu but his first-time effort goes wide.

3' - Early clash between Dimas Delgado and Gerson Vieira as the Bengaluru man fouled Thiago Santos in the middle.

The home side Mumbai City FC will be having revenge on their minds for the loss they faced in the season opener. The Bengaluru defence was so effective that night that Mumbai managed only 1 shot in the entire game at the Kanteerava Stadium in Bangalore.

A win for the home side would see them break into the top four at the cost of FC Goa, who would have two matches in hand on the Mumbai-based side. On the other hand, a win for the away side would see them go top of the table for the time being with Chennaiyin FC playing Northeast United on Friday.

Alexandre Guimaraes has the whole squad available to him and would be banking on the trio of Balwant Singh, Thiago Santos and Everton Santos in attack. For Bengaluru, Subashish Bose is suspended for the red card he received in the 2-0 loss to Delhi Dynamos.
