An incredibly exciting game comes to an end in Fatorda, Goa as Bengaluru FC's hype train get derailed after two wins at the start of the ISL season. Controversies in the game involving the BFC keeper who was sent off for using unnecessary force on Coro. Coro, was the man of the match for his hat-trick that made the difference for the home side. Miku grabbed a brace but it wasn't enough for the away side. Still, BFC pulled back with two goals to make it 3-3 but Coro's third goal put the game out of the newbies' hands.

90+1' - It's all happening in Goa!! Arana is through on goal after a through-ball but Abhra Mondal rushes out and gets his hand on the ball outside the box. The ref only shows a yellow card. That should have been a red as it was a clear scoring chance for Arana.

60' - IT'S ALL SQUARE AGAIN!!! Miku grabs his second after a miscommunication in the Goa defense as Miku gets past two defenders and chips the ball over the rushing Kattimani. Great play from the away side.

56' - GOALL!!! Bengaluru pull one back as it is the same story again. Edu Garcia with the set-piece and Partaalu with the header as the Aussie gets his third goal in two matches. Kattimani came out of his line and Partaalu rose the highest to nod it into the goal.

55' - CLOSE!!! Sunil Chhetri receives the ball from Miku and almost scores into the top corner but Kattimani saves with an incredible effort.

55' - Good move by the away side as Udanta uses his pace and goes on the tear along the right wing but his cross is dealt with by Pinheiro as he had Miku lurking inside the box.

53' - CLOSE!!! Coro gets called offside in an erratic decision from the linesman after being put through on the right with Brandon alongside him to slot the ball in. Bengaluru escape!!

52' - Goa are toying around with the Bengaluru attackers with great control in the back as Bengaluru FC have stopped with their pressing due to being a man short.

45' - The second half action is kicked off by the home side as we are all set to witness an interesting half of football with BFC being down to 10 men. Goa will have the advantage. Can they extend their lead ?

Half Time: FC Goa 3 Bengaluru FC 1

An exciting half ends with the home side leading 3-1 and Bengaluru FC down one man as we have had plenty of talking points here in Goa. Gurpreet Singh Sandhu saw red as he went into an anger-fuelled fury on Lanzarote and was penalized accordingly. 45' - Four minutes of additional time has been indicated by the fourth official as the score stands 3-1 in favor of FC Goa.

39' - Lanzarote makes no mistake !!! Goa lead by 3-1 as Lanzarote sends the new BFC keeper Mondal the wrong way and scores it calmly to put the home crowd into a frenzy of cheers.

38' - Substitution for Bengaluru FC:

In a forced change due to the red card to their No.1, Abhra Mondal makes his way to the pitch as Rahul Bheke is sacrificed. First action and a penalty for Mondal.

36' - RED CARD!! That is ridiculous from the Indian national keeper Sandhu as he takes down Coro after being involved in a tackle in the box. Lanzarote fell down to the ground as the ref gave Sandhu the marching orders with Bengaluru FC players crowding the man in charge. Penalty to FC GOA!!!

33' - AND THEY'RE BACK AHEAD!!!! Lanzarote puts in a well-weighted ball into the box that is headed into the path of Coro by Pinheiro and Coro did the rest. He continued his run into the box and slotted it past Sandhu into the left corner. The move looked straight out of the training ground as Lobera rejoices on the touchline.

31' - Just past the half an hour mark here in Fatorda as the score stands 1-1 with both sides looking to take control of the game as we have both teams come close on occasion.

24' - Another BFC player is booked as Rahul Bheke goes into the ref's books for a pull on Lanzarote. Free-kick in a promising position for FC Goa.

22' - CHANCE!!! Miku puts the ball in from the right side in for Udanta who had made the run and manages to get his head on the ball but the effort goes wide.

20' - BFC have their equalizer!!! Miku grabs a goal again tonight after getting on the end of Partaalu's dink into the box and the Venezuelan finishes it between Kattimani's legs as the crowd goes silent within 5 minutes of taking the lead.

15' - GOALLLL!!! The home side has taken the lead as Coro goes past a couple of defenders after picking up the ball in space and runs past sliding tackles to slot it past the hapless Gurpreet in the BFC goal. Incredible finish from the Goa man.

9' - Johnson escapes the ref's wrath after an off-the-ball challenge on Coro after Bengaluru were denied a penalty appeal when Erik Partaalu was brought down in the box, in what looked like a good case for BFC.

8' - Bengaluru have been intense with their tackles, another one put in by Partaalu who took out Pinheiro as he had ventured out of the defense but was brought down.

6' - Yellow card for Lenny Rodrigues, the Goan gets booked for a rash challenge on Coro who was pulled down by the lanky BFC man.

5' - A good ball over the top for Coro who manages to reach and crosses it for Mandar Rao Desai but he stutters with the contact and slips inside the box, good move by the Goans.

2' - The set-piece isn't deal well by the home defense and falls to Partaalu, who lays it up for Lenny Rodrigues on the left wing and Lenny lets an effort lose but it is wide off Kattimani's goal.

2' - Early free-kick for Bengaluru after Edu Garcia is tackled late by Lanzarote, Garcia will preside over the dead-ball situation.

1' - Let's Football!! We're up and running in the game as Sunil Chhetri and Co. kick off proceedings at the JLN Stadium in Goa.

The home side takes to the field in their Blue colors whereas the 'Blues' from Bengaluru wear the white kit with red lining. The toss is won by Goa and Bengaluru will kick off the game.

The teams are making their way to the pitch with Kattimani and Chhetri leading Goa and Bengaluru, respectively amidst loud cheers and fireworks in Fatorda.

We are about 10 minutes from kickoff here at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda, Goa with the Gaurs set to play their first home game in an exciting clash against current table toppers Bengaluru FC.

Bengaluru FC's Albert Roca has fielded an unchanged side from their two victories whereas FC Goa has made a couple of changes with local crowd favorite Brandon Fernandes and Bruno Pinheiro replacing Chinglensana Singh and Sergio Juste in Sergio Lobera's lineup.

This tie marks the third game for both the sides who have had contrasting fortunes so far - Bengaluru FC having won both their matches so far in convincing fashion whereas Goa has won one and lost one. This sets up the stage nicely for the game that promises to be a cracker.

FC Goa are all set to face off against the highflying Bengaluru FC, in what promises to be a thrilling encounter at the Fatorda Stadium in Goa, tonight.fc

The Goans have been on a mixed bag of form under coach Sergio Lobera, winning their first match 3-2 away at Chennaiyin, while they lost their second encounter 2-1 at Mumbai. One key area where FC Goa seem to be losing out on, is the poor form of their goalkeeper Laxmikant Kattimani, who could be held accountable for both the goals they conceded against Mumbai in their last match.

Bengaluru, on the other hand, have hardly put a foot wrong in their first two games, having won 2-0 against the Mumbai City FC, and 4-1 against the Delhi Dynamos, both at home.

This match brings about a new aspect for both the teams, as Goa are set to play their first home match, while Bengaluru will play their first away game of the season.
