With only Schmeichel to beat - albeit from a very narrow angle - he eschews a shot and tries to pick out Lukaku again but only succeeds in smashing it tat Wes Morgan

84' Fuchs hurls one of his missiles forward and Maguire is held off by Smalling - the crowd bay for blood, but that seems to be okay. Leicester pour forward again and Okazaki gets penalised for a seemingly harmless nudge on Jones. The ref is as uninterested as the crowd is interested.

65' Gray tries to sashay past Matic but that's easier said than done... Iborra does well to win the ball back, though, and Leicester start stringing the ball around with real intent... Ndidi powers down the right only for Martial to keep fighting and win the ball back in his own area. Mourinho's eyes sparkle with love as he gazes on to this sight

64' Leicester pour forward and Mahrez gives Young the slip with a lovely shimmy - but his pass into the box is poor

63' Martial runs at a gaggle of furiously backtracking Leicester players and gets brought down by Ndidi. Nothing comes off that freekick near the centre circle though

50' Pass-pass-pass go Leicester like an ersatz Man City as they try to pull United out of shape... a loose touch from Mahrez, though, allows Lingard to nip in and Ndidi has to bring him down

49' Leicester are controlling the possession at the moment, and are doing so with calm authority

48' United clear the initial attempt before Lukaku fails to outmuscle Ndidi as they look to counter... and Leicester peg United back in their own third

That was an entertaining, breezy 45 that saw two lovely goals and although United have looked more composed, and threatening, on the ball it's all to play for when the two teams come out for the second half.
