Real Madrid are prepared to make Neymar the highest-paid player on the planet if they can sign him from Paris Saint-Germain.

Los Blancos would need to part with a fee of €300 million to get PSG to part with the former Barcelona star and then hand him a salary approaching €50m per season.

That could set up a conflict with Cristiano Ronaldo who makes €25m per season and wants a new contract.

Paris Saint-Germain remain reluctant to part with Javier Pastore but will sanction a transfer if the terms are right, claims his agent.

The Argentine playmaker has been linked with a move away from Parc des Princes for some time now amid fierce competition for places. Liverpool and Tottenham are reported to be interested in Pastore, but Inter Milan are favourites to agree a deal before the January transfer deadline.

Juan Mata is happy at Manchester United and is NOT thinking about leaving the club following the signing of Alexis Sanchez.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and has been linked with a return to Valencia, but United are expected to trigger a one-year option in his deal.

Barcelona star Lionel Messi has urged his club's board to consider a move for Real Madrid attacker Marco Asensio.

The 22-year-old is considered one of Spain's biggest hopes for the future, but his lack of game time at the Bernabeu has Messi convinced that Barca can swoop in and steal him away from their great rivals.

Messi reportedly has another motive, too: revenge. The Argentine is reportedly upset with Madrid's pursuit of PSG star Neymar, who just left Barca last summer and is still close with Messi.

Emerson Palmieri is very close to joining Chelsea for €20 million + €6 million in bonuses. Medical tomorrow.

Harry Kane has conditions that must be met if Real Madrid are to have any hope of signing him.

It is claimed that Kane would prefer to work under Mauricio Pochettino rather than Zinedine Zidane, with the latter looking likely to be replaced in the summer.

Signing Pochettino would go a long way to getting Kane onboard, but it is said that the England striker has no desire to play alongside Karim Benzema or Cristiano Ronaldo, and would ask that the Spanish capital club sell those players before his arrival.

Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge looks set to join West Brom on loan for the rest of the season, Sky Sports News understands.

Sturridge has been linked in recent weeks with a move to Inter Milan and Newcastle. It appears that the player has chosen West Brom for family reasons.

The deal could be concluded later today.

Antonio Conte stands to make a whopping £9 million if Chelsea decide to sack him.

The Italian's relationship with the club's board is said to have reached a breaking point, with the manager and the club's hierarchy finding it difficult to see eye to eye on transfer policy.

If Chelsea want to be rid of Conte before then, they will have to fork out a 'termination payment', just as they did when Jose Mourinho was let go in 2015.

Roy Hodgson has confirmed that a first-team Crystal Palace player will go out on loan before Wednesday's deadline.

"It would be unfair to give you a name right now."

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is hopeful of keeping Marouane Fellaini at Old Trafford, but admits he is not sure what the player's future holds.

"He is a very important player for me," Mourinho said. "He is a great professional that is giving everything he can to help the team. There is a desire from myself, the board and the payer to stay together.

"That is our objective. Are we going to reach other things? Are we going to agree? I don’t know. What I do know is myself, the board and the player – we would like to have a happy end."

Gareth Bale has told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez to go all out for Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli.

The Blancos have been linked with the England international for some time and could make a move in the summer. Real are expected to be busy in the next window after enduring a testing 2017-18 campaign, and Alli is considered to be a man they need to bring in.

Monaco are willing to listen to offers for Liverpool and Arsenal target Keita Balde.

The 22-year-old winger joined the Ligue 1 side from Lazio this past summer for £30 million, but sporting director Michael Emenalo reportedly is ready to cash in on the Senegal international.

Everton are trying to sign Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The Toffees have been in contact with the Serie A giants over the past few days as they try to reach an agreement to secure the Croatia international’s signature.

Everton have proposed sending Davy Klaassen in the opposite direction as part of the deal. Everton spent €27m to sign the Dutchman from Ajax last summer.

Real Madrid will wait until 2019 to make a move for Paris Saint-Germain's Neymar.

Standing in the way of a swifter conclusion is Cristiano Ronaldo, with it said that Madrid are finding it difficult to get the Portuguese, and his gargantuan wage bill, off of their books.

As such, Florentino Perez is prepared to wait until 2019 — allegedly when Ronaldo will make a move to Major League Soccer — before making a serious move for the Brazilian.

The completion of Arsenal's Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal could see Olivier Giroud move to Chelsea for £35 million.

Giroud would head to Stamford Bridge if the Blues meet the Gunners' valuation of the Frenchman, who would be available to play in the Champions League.

Sam Allardyce has refused to rule out Everton moves for both Steven N'Zonzi and Marcelo Brozovic.

He said: "I'm not ruling anybody in or out because it's impossible to do that, the window open for anyone and somewhere out of blue, which normally happens this time, could appear."

West Ham are in talks to sign Russia captain Fedor Smolov, according to Sky sources.

The 27-year-old striker wants to move to London from Russian Premier League team Krasnodar. West Ham are trying to negotiate a loan with an option to buy but Krasnodar want a £12million permanent deal.

Smolov speaks fluent English and he has been described as the “Russian David Beckham”.

Stoke City are in advanced talks with Galatasaray over a £15m purchase for Senegal midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

But ithey are facing real competition for his signature from Inter Milan.

Watford are open to signing Barcelona forward Gerard Deulofeu.

The 23-year-old, who rejoined Barcelona from Everton last summer, has managed only five league starts this term and has been linked heavily with a number of Italian teams, most notably Napoli.

He could return to the Premier League as he is a target for new Watford boss Javi Gracia. Gracia wants to sign his compatriot to bolster the Hornets’ attacking options.

Manchester United will look to sign Manuel Neuer from Bayern Munich should David de Gea leave the club.

Jose Mourinho is aware that Chelsea would likely never sell Thibaut Courtois to a rival and that Jan Oblak may be too expensive, so the Germany international is seen as a more plausible option.

United could offer the 31-year-old Neuer one last big payday while the goalkeeper is still in his prime.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is edging closer to a move to LA Galaxy.

The report suggests the 36-year-old is deep in talks with the Galaxy to end his time at Old Trafford and move to Major League Soccer.

Roma have rejected a first offer from Liverpool for Brazil goalkeeper Alisson Becker.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly seeking a new goalkeeper to usurp his current pair of Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius and Alisson, 25, has been linked with the Anfield side.

Atletico Madrid winger Nicolas Gaitan has turned down a move to Swansea City.

Gaitan is surplus to requirements at Atleti and needs to resolve his future this week. Atleti informed the Argentinian of two possible moves away from the Wanda Metropolitano, but he rejected both proposals.

Swansea showed the most interest in signing the 29-year-old, but the player rejected their offer. Atleti value Gaitan at €15m.
