According to L'Equipe, Arsenal are considering a move for 26-year-old OGC Nice midfielder. Jean Seri was one of Nice's most influential figures in the 2016/17 campaign where they finished third. The Ivorian central midfielder had been heavily linked with a move to AS Roma. A deal looked almost set and certain to happen until it broke down.

The La Liga side is doing a squad overhaul of sorts and have now decided to sell the defensive trio of Ezequiel Garay, Joao Cancelo and Aymen Abdennour this summer, according to Football Espana.

Mourinho, who was speaking to the press ahead of United's friendly against Barcelona revealed,
"I'm happy with my squad but I would like to have two more players, I never hide that, one player a midfield player would give me more options to the balance and the team,"
"Another one an attacking player, especially that can play through the wings to give me more attacking options but I never speak about players that belong to other teams."
"I don't like if any manager comes and would say he would like one of my players, that's not correct. I would like two more players but probably I only get one."
Mourinho also added that he believes Ed Woodward is in control.

No contact made for Jeremy Toljan
Speaking to Sky sources, the agents of the 22-year-old fullback, has said that they have not yet been contacted by Tottenham over a potential transfer deal for Toljan. Spurs were reported to be keeping tabs on the 1899 Hoffenheim right back after they sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City.
