According to reports in Italy, Manchester United have made a formal approach for Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan. The Belgium international, who has been linked with Chelsea in the past has been offered a contract offer of just over £6.5M-a-year to join the Red Devils.

BREAKING: FC Barcelona are set to banned from the transfer window amidst allegations of tapping up in the deal for Santos midfielder Lima. The Blaugrana will undergo further investigation and risk facing a ban starting in January 2018.

According to Marca, Real Betis are in talks with Barcelona over the possible transfer of Cristian Tello. Tello spent the 2016/17 season on loan at Fiorentina and Betis are now in advanced negotiations with his parent club, although they are yet to reach an agreement with Tello who is valued at around €8M.

Chelsea are close to signing Monaco's Tiemoue Bakayoko.

A deal could be completed this week.

According to the Daily Star, Max Meyer is being scouted by Liverpool who are reportedly keeping a close eye on him during the U-21 championships that are being held in Poland. The 21-year-old Schalke midfielder has helped Germany reach the semi-finals where they will face England.

Guangzhou Evergrande manager Luiz Felipe Scolari has revealed that it is highly unlikely that the club will let Brazilian midfielder Paulinho leave the club amidst rumours linking him to Barcelona. "His release clause is €40M (£35.1M) and none of the Chinese clubs will let their key players go because it would be difficult and expensive to find a replacement due to the new rules," the Brazilian coach told reporters.

According to the Daily Mirror, Swansea have rejected a £30M bid from Everton for Gylfi Sugurdsson. However, Ronald Koeman is already preparing for an improved bid after identifying the Iceland international as his prime target for the coming season.

Arturo Vidal has again urged Bayern Munich sign his international team-mate Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, reports BILD. "We'll see if Alexis is coming. I do not know yet, I know him very well.
