Spurs have finally agreed to put the money on the table as per the asking terms of AZ Alkmaar. They're expected to complete the deal costing £17m by the end of the day as Vincent Janssen was seen leaving AZ training - likely for the last time.

Godfather Wenger and Arsenal set to hijack a signing!

Arsenal are set to sign Lille defender Djibril Sidibe. The prospect can play on either of the wings and impressed in the French Ligue last season. It appears the signing is to replace Kieron Gibbs who looks likely to leave the Gunners.

Earlier, Monaco made a £12m move that was nearly approved by the player's club until Arsenal poked their nose into it. According to L'Equipe, Arsenal have muscled in on the deal ever since they found out that Lille had agreed to a fee, and presented Sidibe with an offer he couldn't refuse.
