Today, can be termed as the first big day of twist in the title race. But there are still three big games coming for Mohun Bagan and each of them will be like a cup final from now on.

Mohun Bagan looked disjointed today with the midfield and the forward line looking devoid of energy and plan.

The defensive line and especially, their skipper Kingshuk Debnath looking jaded.

87' - Ball being crossed into the Rainbow box as Mohun Bagan are throwing the kitchen sink.

85' - Free-kick played short and that ball is squared. A shot is taken but MB block and look to mounter a counter.

84' - Sumit Das with another brilliant run and he earns Rainbow another free kick.

Noooo. What a great chance. Kamo down the right gets in a cross where Surchandra is there. The ball is a tad bit behind him. His header finds Narohari who shoots first time on the half volley. But that is waaaay over.

81' - A yellow card now for Ankur Das as he is trying to waste time.

80' - Another bad ball as the ball to Nikhil Kadam again has too much on it. And again another goalkick for Rainbow.

79'- Crosses.

A couple of them from Sarthak Golui. The first one is on the ground and the next one into the box. But Ankur Das comes out and claims that one with much confidence.

78' - Sumit again!

Down the left. Played through and Rainbow still looking for a goal. Sumit tried to curl into the far post. But that one just didn't have enough bend to it.

77' - Into the final third again. But again the final through ball from Narohari has too much on it.

76' - But MB are not going mull over that and Kamo again delivers from the right. But again, no one in the middle.

75' - SUMIT DAS! Nearly!

A dodge of the shoulder and a burst of pace has Kingshuk Debnath reeling and then a cut back takes Bikramjeet out of the equation, What a great piece of skill. But he can't apply the finish.

74' - Kamo looks to get past his man and get to the byline looks to deliver one. But he is thwarted.

73' - Rainbow with some really good play down the left. Finally, results in a shot from Sumit Das. But that is weak and wide.

71'- Pintu Mahato with a great burst of pace and he crosses that in from the left. Kamo at the near post but Rainbow clear.

70' - Lobbed again for Kamo to chase but Ankur Das comes ahead and claims that easily.

68' - But Rainbow look again to cause some problems. Bernards gets into the box on the right and cuts back one. But Nikhil Kadam is back to clear the danger.

Mohun Bagan start the counter and it is Narohari Shreshtha alongside Kromah. Narohari finally takes the shot but that is skied way over the goal.

67' - Some neat passes in the final third but Ricky there to thwart the efforts.

66' - Rainbow, however, look unfazed and Suraj again on the left swings a delicious ball in. But Bernard is nowhere near that.

65' - KROMAAAH!

No. Not this time. Combines beautifully again with Kamo as the Liberian is played beyond the back line. But this time his shot is sliced and off target.

64' - A good one two as Kamo lays it off for Nikhil Kadam to chase. But he is shadowed all the way to the byline and Rainbow get a goalkick.

62' - Sarthak Golui with a punt looking for Kromah. The clearance finds Nikhil Kadam who plays in Kamo on the right. A great ball from the forward but no one in middle to head it on target.

61' - Mohun Bagan again looking to hit from the right but Nikhil Kadam's run is thwarted.

And finally, the goal they were all looking for. Down the right and the Liberian with a shot across goal and nestles that ball into the far post. Relief for Mohun Bagan.

59' - Another change for MB as Raynier Fernandes is withdrawn as Narohari Shreshtha comes on.

58' - Rainbow still looking dangerous time and again. And they have a corner. But that is way overhit.

53' - Bernard with a rash tackle and that results in a yellow card.

Long ball into the Rainbow box headed out. Falls to Kromah who brings it down and then thrashes it on the volley. But that is way over the bar.

53' - And the first substitution for MB as Nikhil Kadam comes on for the ineffective Chesterpaul Lyngdoh.

52' - Mohun Bagan survive another punt into their box. The ball comes to Surchandra who brings it down with much ease but his long ball looking for Pintu on the left has too much on that.

61' - Corner for Mohun Bagan. But not really threatening from the Mariners.

50' - Down the right and Sarthak Golui swings one into the box. But Rainbow head that away.

48' - Rainbow on the attack and they get a corner.

The delivery, however, is towards the edge of the box. And Mohun Bagan now look to go on the front foot.

49' MB have started the 2nd half in lightning speed but they still trail here as the fans' frustrations grow.

Suraj Mahato has been quiet in the first half apart from that one moment of brilliance where he guided the ball into Shibinraj's net against the run of play. MB have to do better in the 2nd half.
