The final will now be contested tomorrow with the Chennai Smashers locking horns against the Mumbai Rockets.

With Mumbai Rockets already through to the finals by virtue of winning their own trump encounter and defeating the Hunters' in theirs, there will be no further matches in this tie.

Prannoy has been all but magnificient in his trump match, as he removes his shirt off in celebrations!

Prannoy now essentially on a match point, and he wins it 15-13, takes his team through to the finals!

Prannoy's effort now lands out of court, but he makes some amends to make it 13-13.

Sameer conmes back with a big attack to make it 11-12 but puts the shuttle out of play, so yet again it is tied at 12-12.

It's 11-10 as the shuttle fall long off the court from Prannoy. Another opportunity for Sameer but he fails to capitalize as it is 11-11.

And with a stunning effort, he makes it 10-10.

Prannoy devoids Sameer a couple of game points to make it 9-10.

Prannoy's effort is short, and it is match point for Sameer.

Sameer claims an important point before losing one, but he is still in the lead 7-9.

Sameer finds the net as Prannoy gains a point but subsequently makes an error, the score now 5-8.

Sameer in the lead 6-4 at the break with some action near the net.

Prannoy mis-judges a shuttle for a long one and now it is all 4-4 in the second game.

An amazing rally which covered the full court comes to a close with Prannoy claiming the point, 4-2 now.

Upping his ante after losing the initial point, Prannoy makes it 3-1.

But, it is followed up by some fantastic net play from Prannoy who makes it 1-1.

In the second game, Sameer gets off to a good start with the first point to his name.

The last time these two players clashed against each other on the 4th of January, it was Sameer Verma who playing his trump match and he ended up on the losing the encounter.

Sameer devoids Prannoy of a match point at first but the Rocket's player is not to be bogged down as he forces his rival to find the net and clinches the first game 11-8.

HS Prannoy executes a powerful shot down the line and takes the lead, 10-7.

But Sameer comes back strongly to claim three points in a row and makes it 8-7.

Prannoy claims two back-to-back points on his serve to go up 8-4.

The game goes into the the break with a scoreline of 6-4, Prannoy in the lead.

There is a challenge from Prannoy and he loses it, the score now 5-4.

Brilliant stuff from Prannoy, he is at his attacking best with smashes and is 5-2 in the lead.

But subsequently, he fails to pick up a drop shot as Sameer Verma reduces the lead to 3-2.

Sameer find the net, as Prannoy goes up 2-1.

Prannoy is in tremendous form this season, is unbeaten so far and begins proceedings with a point to his name.

If HS Prannoy of Mumbai Rockets wins the next match against Sameer, it could all be OVER for the Hunters!

The Hyderabad Hunters are now -1 as against the Mumbai Rockets who are +1 up in the clash.

Sung Ji Hyun wins the encounter, she played one of the best matches of her career in the commentator's opinion as she keeps a clear record against Marin for the second time in PBL.

Marin seems to be blown apart, with the score now 10-5 and match point for Sung.

An exquisite display of skills from Sung as she surges ahead 9-5.

But on the other side, the shuttle is long from Sung, which makes it 7-5.

It's into the net from Marin and she is lagging behind 7-4.

Marin looks under pressure as she mis-judges the shuttle and it's 6-3 at the break of game 3.

But she redeems herself with a fabulous effort to make it 4-3.

A 20-shot rally comes to an end with a Marin error, the score now 4-2.

A quick smash from the nets by Marin, makes it 2-2.

There's a challenge for the second point and it goes to Sung, score now 1-1.

One game apiece now, Marin claims the first point of the third and deciding game.

It's game point for Sung and she wins it 11-6 as the shuttle is wide off the side line from Marin.

But, in return there is beautiful cross-court shot from Sung and subsequently yet another point is claimed by her to make it 10-5.

Marin smashes it across to make it 8-5.

Sung tries to race it down against Marin and succeeds, score is now 8-4 in her favour.
