62' Ezatolahi and Quaresma have a go at each other in the Iranian box; the Iranian lightly slapping him across his face with the back of his hand - Quaresma exacts revenge in the most Quaresma manner ever... by smashing into Ezatolahi with the full force of a trailer truck. OUCH! A deserved yellow for the Portuguese goalscorer

61' Iran look to counter; but it breaks on that dyke that is Carvalho. Raphael Guerreiro gets on to the ball, has a little run and smashes it at goal from 30 odd yards; to say that Ronaldo's upset with his left back is like saying a Delhi winter is cold. It ain't cold, son. It's hell.

60' Portugal move play a good deal further forward with Quaresma winning a free throw off Cedric; from which he wins another. Santos and Quieroz are both yelling out encouragement and advice and scoldings to their charges. This is a real, real battle - make no mistake
