With the Pro Kabaddi Season 5 final between the Patna Pirates and the Gujarat Fortunegiants slated to start, another set of kabaddi stars will also get set for the biggest match of their lives in the KBD Juniors nationals final. The Jeppiaar School from Chennai will take on the South Point World School from Sonepat for the inaugural KBD Juniors crown, with both sides making it to the grand finale after a grueling procedure that saw them overcome teams from across the nation.

The competition's objective is unearthing the next generation of kabaddi superstars in India and was started by Mashal Sports, the organizers of the PKL. It featured schools from across the 12 host cities in Season 5 face off at the city level first, with the best team from each city qualifying for the national finals. Like in the main competition, the 12 teams were then divided into two zones and from each zone, the winning team was decided after a group plus knockout format.

In Mumbai, the teams from Chennai and Sonepat will face off for the title. Stay tuned as we bring to you the latest updates from the action!
