But it's been the Swiss maestro who has had the upper hand in their last three meetings which include two this year at the Australian Open final and at the Indian Wells pre-quarter-finals.
Roger is aiming for his third Miami crown while Rafa has never won this title and has a 0-4 record in finals at this tournament so far.
