Singapore GP Race Report: Sebastian Vettel takes victory, fan on the track!

It's all over! Sebastian Vettel has won the Singapore Grand Prix in dominant fashion with Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull in P2 and Kimi Raikkonen in P3.

Vettel is holding tight onto his lead. Romain Grosjean has locked up with one lap to go.

And another retirement.. Maldonado retires as well, but it's not a crash.

Yet another double retirement for McLaren as Jenson Button will also retire. "We're taking too much risk with the gearbox", say McLaren engineers to Button.

Severe front wing damage for Jenson Button, who apologises to Romain Grosjean for colliding into the rear of the Lotus driver. More debris, so possibility of the safety car again. Max Verstappen of Toro Rosso is in the points now.

Investigation appears to show a gearbox failure that has caused Fernando Alonso to retire.

4 retirements so far. First to go was Nico Hulkenberg who collided with Felipe Massa. Both retired, followed by reigning champion Lewis Hamilton. Now Fernando Alonso has retired as McLaren's woes continue.

Reigning champion Lewis Hamilton is OUT of the Singapore Grand Prix as engine problems catch up with him. A problem with his pedal is likely, says Martin brundle.

Nico Hulkenberg and Felipe Massa are both out of this race. Hamilton is also having a bad race and says he wishes he could just "start again next week."

Push, push, say Ferrari to Kimi Raikkonen who is currently in P3 behind Ricciardo.

"We're going to retire this lap," say Williams to Felipe Massa, who is out.

Serious problems for Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton who has serious problems. Mercedes say they "can't see anything electrical" but say he has "multiple issues". He has been overtaken by Rosberg, Kvyat, Bottas and Sergio Perez. Reigning champion currently in P10.

"Vettel is not pushing right now" say Red Bull engineers to Ricciardo. It appears the German is doing this to minimise tyre degradation, and wants to stick to a two-stop strategy to win.

Bad news for Force India fans. Following an investigation of the incident between Massa and Hulkenberg, stewards have held Hulkenberg responsible. He will have three grid place drops at the next event - which is the Japanese Grand Prix at Suzuka next week.

The safety car is now gone. Vettel's lead over Ricciardo in P2 has shortened significantly, however, and he will fight to hold on to it.

Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are the only two drivers on primes for now.

An embarrassing situation for McLaren's Jenson Button who spends a massive 40 seconds in the pit lane. Virtual Safety Car is still out.

Nico Hulkenberg of Force India attempts to undercut Felipe Massa of Williams and fails spectacularly. He crashes into the wall and causes slight damage to Massa's car, but Williams says it's "all okay" to Massa.

Grosjean now has P13 as Lotus say "good job, good job!"

"Box this lap, box this lap," say McLaren to Fernando Alonso. Lap 11 and he's pitted. So has Carlos Sainz of Toro Rosso. P13 for Alonso and there's a fight between him and Lotus' Romain Grosjean, who has JUST managed the undercut.

"Overheating, overheating" says Jenson Button of McLaren on team radio. The McLaren-Hondas have had problems all year, and neither has made it to Q3 at all this year.

Pace pretty good, says Valtteri Bottas of Williams. It's the Finn's 50th race and he's behind Nico Rosberg of Mercedes, who is in P6.

Disappointing qualifier for Force India, and Sergio Perez and Nico Hulkenberg nearly collide on track. Close call. Max Verstappen of Toro Rosso has problems, and he's pushed by marshals early on before rejoining the grid. He now brings up the rear.
