Wimbledon runners-up and Hamburg Open winners Jamie Murray and John Peers decimate Giraldo-Junaid 6-1, 7-5.

Leander Paes is now out of the tournament as he and partner Fernando Verdasco lose in the men's doubles to Johnson and Querrey, who ousted the top-seeded Bryan brothers earlier.
