US Open Day 8: Azarenka, Wawrinka playing, Bopanna, Paes on court

Just when you thought all the upsets at the US Open were complete, there's another one, possibly the biggest one of the tournament. Third seed Andy Murray has suffered a shock exit to South Africa's Kevin Anderson, who is seeded 15th. The Scot has a hard time of it, and loses 6-7(5-7), 3-6, 7-6(2), 6-7(7).

Second seed Simona Halep comes back from a strong fight with her German competitor Sabine Lisicki. She starts off a set down to win the next two, taking victory 6-7(8), 7-5, 6-2 and now moves to the quarter-finals of the US Open. This is Halep's first time as a quarter-finalist at the Open.
