Strong goes for a cover but it's broken up as a huge melee breaks out. It ends as Nikki Cross hits a head scissors on Dillinger behind the referee's back and dumps him out of the ring. Meanwhile, Killian Dane hits a massive spear on Roderick Strong before Eric Young covers him for the 3-count. the numbers game was too much for them in the end.

SANITY def. Tye Dillinger, No Way Jose and Roderick Strong

Strong boots Dane off the apron before hitting Alexander Wolfe with a backbreaker followed by the running boot into the corner.

Wolfe hits Dillinger with a sidekick before tagging in Killian Dane. The big man stomps the hell out of Dillinger before grabbing him by the hair and tagging in Wolfe. The duo double-team Dillinger before Wolfe covers him for a 2-count. The fans are chanting "Let's go Tye" as Dillinger obliges and hits a back suplex to tag in Roddy.

Jose greets Young with a series of stiff chops before hitting a back body drop and tagging in Strong. Young powers Strong into SANITY's corner as Wolfe tagged himself in. Strong welcomed Wolfe with a massive jumping heel kick before tagging the "Perfect 10" back in.

Jose is all over Alexander Wolfe but the big German soon wrests back control and tags in Eric Young.

As Wolfe climbs backs onto the apron, Dillinger tosses him back into the ring before tagging in No Way Jose.

Dillinger is all over Alexander Wolfe as we come back from commercial. SANITY look to regroup at ringside as the referee begins his count.

Tye Dillinger, No Way Jose and Roderick Strong vs SANITY (Eric Young, Killian Dane and Alexander Wolfe)

What a way to end tonight's episode of NXT! Sometimes I feel that NXT just isn't a long enough show.

The match breaks down into a brawl as SANITY are coming to the ring as the 6 men fight on the ramp.

Roode continued that he beat and embarrassed Nakamura at TakeOver: San Antonio which was the single greatest moment in NXT history. He finishes off by saying "I am THE champion". Roode adds that it is no longer "We are NXT" because it was now his NXT.

Roode continues to address Nakamura - the man who ran roughshod through Japan for a decade before defeating everyone in NXT from Balor and Zayn to Samoa Joe. Roode finished his point by saying that Nakamura beat everyone except him.

Bobby Roode gets a loud reception mixed in with a smattering of boos. He rubs it into the crowd that he'd guaranteed a win at NXT TakeOver: San Antonio. He added that this proved that he was on a different level.

As the Authors of Pain are walking back, The Revival jump them from behind. They land a few blows before running away and that doesn't look like a good idea in hindsight. All it did was piss off these two behemoths.

Unforseen by The Revival, The Authors of Pain's music hits and they come out. Dawson and Wilder immediately clear the ring and walk away.

The Revival cut a promo after the match saying that they carried the NXT Tag-Team Division on their backs and DIY didn't deserve to be champions. They continue by challenging the new NXT Tag-Team Champions at NXT TakeOver: Orlando.

Knight chases Wilder out of the ring. Wilder runs out before leading the big man back into the ring as Dawson hit him with a huge DDT for the win over the repackaged Heavy Machinery.

The Revival def. Heavy Machinery

The Revival work over Dozovic befoe he finally tags Knight back in. The big man cleans house before hitting Wilder with a huge dropkick. He follows it up with an armdrag on Wilder.

Knight and Dash Wilder stat us off. Dash attempts multiple shoulder takedowns but can't even move Tucker Knight. Knight picks up Dash Wilder and tosses him to Dozovic who catches him. Dawson distracts the referee as Wilder bites Dozovic in the face before making a tag.

Heavy Machinery (Otis Dozovic and Tucker Knight) vs The Revival

Dozovic and Knight getting repackaged as Heavy Machinery tonight as they face The Revival.

William Regal is backstage and he announces a huge match for next week's episode of NXT. Tyler Bate will defend the WWE UK Championship next week against Trent Seven!

Roderick Strong and No Way Jose come out to Dillinger's aid! They send SANITY packing as Dillinger, Strong and Jose stand tall.

Tye Dillinger is backstage giving an interview when SANITY attack him from behind. Dillinger and SANITY brawl into the arena as Dillinger fights back against Young.

Royce is now up on the apron as she tries to stop Morgan from rolling Kay up. Morgan knocks Kay off the apron and rolls Billie Kay up. 1-2-3! Liv Morgan pulls off the win!

Liv Morgan def. Billie Kay

Morgan hits back with an unique head scissors.

Kay is on top now after a massive boot to Liv Morgan. She pounds Morgan near the corner before putting her in a headlock.

Kay and Morgan circle each other tentatively as we begin before Liv Morgan hits the rolling pinning combination on Billie Kay. Unique but not very effective.

The 2016 NXT breakout stars are out next as Billie Kay faces Peyton Royce.

Killian Dane hits his version of the One Winged Angle to Shira and pins him.

Nikki Cross screamed into the mic after the match "I want Asuka".

Dane powerbombs Harv Shira right into Gurv Shira. This is more like a handicap match than a tag match.

Harv Shira makes a tag to Gurv Shira and the two of them look for a double superkick on Killian Dane. Dane blocks it and clothesline both of them.

SANITY (Killian Dane and Alexander Wolfe) vs The Bollywood Boyz

Killian Dane and Harv Shira start us off. Dane is dominant in the opening stages.

As NXT kicks off, we see the newest member of NXT Nigel McGuiness at the commentary table making his NXT debut.

NXT Champion Bobby Roode to throw a glorious celebration

There’s a new NXT Champion, and his name is Bobby Roode. The NXT Universe will revel in Roode’s greatness tonight, when the titleholder holds a glorious celebration for his memorable title victory over Shinsuke Nakamura.Roode managed to overcome The King of Strong Style at TakeOver: San Antonio in a classic showdown that still has fans talking.

When Roode made his NXT debut last August, he promised to make the brand glorious. Now that the decorated grappler has done just that, what does Roode being NXT Champion mean for the rest of the locker room? And what exactly does the new champion have in store for his glorious celebration?

Nigel McGuinness makes his NXT announcing debut

When the NXT Universe tunes in tonight to watch NXT on WWE Network, a new voice will be heard among the announce team. British wrestling legend Nigel McGuinness – who co-helmed commentary for the WWE United Kingdom Championship Tournament last January – will join Tom Phillips and Percy Watson at the NXT announce table. He replaces Corey Graves, who will focus his efforts as a part of the Raw announce team.
