Taking advantage of the situation, The Miz rolls Ambrose up for a pin but Ambrose kicks out. Ambrose then hits The Miz with a Dirty Deeds and successfully pins him for the win. Ambrose retains his Intercontinental championship.

Back in the ring, Ambrose hits Miz with a clothesline and tries to go for a pin but Baron Corbin interferes and breaks the pin. All the lumberjacks proceed to beat down each other in the ring and eventually the fight spills to the outside.

Miz connects a couple of corner dropkicks on Ambrose. Ambrose ends up avoiding an aerial move by The Miz and miss ends up falling out of the ring. The lumberjacks beat him down and start bringing him back to the ring but Ambrose lands a crossbody off the top turnbuckle on all the Lumberjacks + The Miz.

The lumberjacks beat both Superstars down and both Ambrose and The Miz get sent back into the ring. Maryse grabs on to Ambrose's leg as the Miz recovers and ends up hitting Ambrose with a dropkick. He then goes for the pin but Ambrose kicks out.

Ambrose gets another pin attempt on The Miz but The Miz kicks out. The Miz gets thrown outside this time and the Lumberjacks beat him down. They hold him in place as Ambrose connects with a topa suicida.

Back in the ring, Ambrose kicks out of yet another pin attempt. Miz mocks Daniel Bryan and ends up hitting Ambrose with a series of "No!" kicks. Ambrose gets tossed out of the ring yet again but gets the better of the heel lumberjacks by beating them down.

The lumberjacks beat Ambrose down. He comes back into the ring and ends up trying to roll-up The Miz for a pin. Miz kicks out. Miz throws out Ambrose on the other side but the faces refuse to attack him. Miz is agitated at the lumberjacks.

Back from the commercials. The two men are battling it out on the middle turnbuckle as Ambrose pushes Miz away. Miz avoids an aerial move and Ambrose ends up getting tossed out of the ring by his own momentum.

Quick to react, Ambrose ends up throwing Miz out again. This time the Lumberjacks beat Miz down before he makes his way back to the ring. Ambrose goes for another pin but Miz kicks out. We cut to commercials.

Miz then continues to beat down Ambrose after Ambrose escapes yet another beatdown on the outside. Ambrose tries to go for a pin but Miz kicks out. Ambrose tosses Miz on the outside, Miz immediately comes back into the ring.

Dean Ambrose makes his entrance and almost immediately attempts to throw Miz out. Miz comes back into the ring though and tosses Ambrose out instead. Ambrose makes it back inside the ring without taking any damage.

The Lumberjacks come out next as we cut to commercials.

Dean Ambrose gets interviewed backstage and says that he was going to trust his instincts for his title defence. He says that no amount of Lumberjacks were going to stop him from defending his title. The Miz makes his entrance.

Bliss then says that Naomi hadn't even been on TV for three months. Naomi says that she was going to be the next Women's champion. Bliss teases a match and almost gets into the ring but then leaves and taunts Naomi on her way out.

Naomi says that she wasn't going to leave the ring until she had a match. She then asks for anyone in the back to come out to face her. Alexa Bliss makes her entrance and says that Naomi is a nobody.

Naomi makes her entrance. Natalya's music plays but we cut to backstage where Nikki Bella can be seen beating her down. Referees and officials try to separate them. Naomi waits in the ring.

After the match, Ziggler goes to the ringside and gets a hold of a steel chair. JBL gets up and confronts Ziggler about what he was about to do. Apollo Crews shows up from behind and takes Ziggler out. He then attempts to hit Ziggler with a chair but Ziggler avoids it and runs up the ramp. Crews tends to Kalisto as we cut to commercials.

Kalisto tries going for a springboard crossbody but Ziggler ends up hitting him with a Superkick in mid-air instead. Ziggler then pins Kalisto and gets the win.

The match begins with Kalisto kicking Ziggler but getting punched back instead. Ziggler goes for a fast pin but Kalisto kicks out in one. Ziggler attempts a clothesline but Kalisto avoids it.

Back from the commercials, Kalisto has already made his entrance as Dolph Ziggler proceeds to make his.

Cena concludes by warning AJ of the consequences at the Royal Rumble and says that he could photoshop his own face over Cena if he wanted because all Cena cared about Sunday and not posters.

Cena tells Styles that he was merely "A guy" holding the championship because Cena let him. He says that AJ Styles wasn't at his level and wasn't even at the level below him.

Cena says that Styles had only been "hot for six months" whereas Cena had held things down in the WWE for over a decade. Cena then goes on to say that he wasn't built for the indy scene but he was built for the WWE instead.
