It's been a pleasure covering WrestleMania for you, despite the overwhelming sting of sadness that grips me in writing the final goodbye for an incomparable legend.

Reigns doesn't celebrate too much, and walks off, leaving Undertaker in the middle of the ring. The Phenom gets up, slowly and deliberately, and wears his hat and coat again.

With the audience vociferous in its applause and thanks, with his music playing in the background, Undertaker unravels his gloves from his hands, takes his coat off, and places his hat in the middle of the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen, we've witness an end of an era. The Undertaker has been retired by Roman Reigns. He breaks character and goes to Michelle McCool, his wife who's in attendance in the front row.

He makes one last, long walk back, with the audience unanimous in applause and gratitude for the greatest legend to have graced the squared circle. Perhaps of all time. Perhaps in all of the world.

He turns back half way up the ramp, to take one look at the sacred ground where he's made the unbelievable routinely possible, where he's defied Father Time repeatedly, where he's inspired generations of people around the world into a sense of wonder that seizes the tongue.

And just like he rose from the depths of the Underworld, to thrill thousands, millions of fans with his inimitable exploits for the better part of 3 decades, he sinks back into the depths, hand held over his head in acknowledgement.

Usually, in the industry of pro-wrestling, fans make the Superstars. We may have seen the last of a legend who forged millions of fans.

He then hits Taker with a Spear! Cover! 1-2-Undertaker Kicks out at 2.5! Reigns isn't discouraged however, and he hits another spear! Cover! This should be it. 1-2-2.99999! Undertaker kicks out of the second Spear!

Reigns has had enough, he runs the ropes 3 times before hitting Taker with a monstrous Spear. (he managed to botch that too, somehow)

Cover! 1-2-3! Roman Reigns defeats the Undertaker.

Roman goes to pick him up, but Taker attempts to lock in the Hell's Gate out of nowhere! Roman manages to squirm himself out of the lock, and prevents Undertaker from grabbing the chair that's lying in the ring. He proceeds to pick the chair up and absolutely eviscerates Undertaker with stiff chair shots! Three of them.

Shocked, but not completely discouraged, Undertaker tries to position Reigns for another Tombstone, but the Big Dog fights it off. But in the process of reversing the move, Reigns botches twice! It's painfully obvious, and Reigns abandons attempts to carry him and instead levels him with a Superman Punch

He follows it up with a Tombstone Piledriver. Cover, 1-2-near fall! Roman Reigns barely manages to kick out of the pin attempt.

Reigns fights back with a couple of Superman Punches out of nowhere, but his attempt at the third sees Taker counter it with a Chokeslam onto the chair!

Reigns realises he's in a real fight here and fishes for a chair. This is a No Holds Barred match, after all. But Undertaker recovers sufficiently in time to wrest it away from Reigns and use it on him, socking him on the back with 2 nasty chair shots.

Reigns makes his way into the ring and looks over the Phenom. JR says that the match should be stopped should the Undertaker be unable to defend himself intelligently. No sooner had those words escaped his mouth, does Undertaker sit up in his patented, spine-tingling fashion.

Taker looks to press the advantage and sets up another table spot, this time with a view to hit the Last Ride or Tombstone on Reigns. In the nick of time, perhaps more out of sheer desperation, Reigns nails him with a Spear onto the table.

The table gives way, as Undertaker looks broken in two.

This fight is far from done, however, as Taker manages to regain his composure and rally back with a right hand that intercepts another attempt at a Driveby from Reigns, in mid air!

He then clutches onto Reigns' neck and chokeslams him onto the Announcer's table! It doesn't break, but the sickening crunch heard upon impact tells its own story.

The fight spills on outside the ring, and Reigns sends Undertaker onto the ringpost, head first. Dinged, Taker barely manages to stay on his feet, giving Roman an opening to hit the driveby

Reigns has had enough, however, and goes back inside with renewed purpose. This time, he's having more success in taking the offence to the Undertaker and he manages to cut him down to size with a stinging right hand.

Reigns rushes back inside the ring, but Taker is happy to dish out more of the same, as he clears the ring of the Big Dog yet again. As though there was any doubt, Taker looks at him squarely , and says " Still my yard".

You can't script this.

The Undertaker sheds his long cloak, and we're just about ready to go. Undertaker pounces on Reigns right off the bat and washes him off the ring with rights and lefts. As a stunned Reigns looks up at Taker from outside the ring, the Phenom mouths "My yard". Chilling.

Instead of making the walk out through the entire ramp, the WWE has very cleverly had him rise into the stadium from somewhere in the middle. The overall spectacle is as enticing and goosebump-inducing as it ever was, however.

Reigns paces the ring, as we get ready to see the Undertaker make his entrance at Mania - perhaps for one last time.

Reigns comes out to a massive cascade of boos raining down on him. As he walks to the ring, Jojo announces that this match would be a No Holds Barred match! What a curveball by the WWE!

Roman Reigns vs Undertaker
Finally, we come to the main event of the night. The previous two matches seemed a bit rush, but could it have been to accommodate a grand finale for the Undertaker?

The Undertaker's entrance alone, purely based on the length of this ramp, may take around 10 minutes. :p We see a vignette emphasizing why exactly the Phenom is the greatest WrestleMania performer.

We seriously didn't need reminding the nature of flame that Reigns would likely be extinguishing today. The New Day come out to announce that they've broken the attendance record for Citrus Bowl stadium. Isn't that what they always say? :p

Also, it would seem that Good Ol' JR has been called back to call this match. His music hits and the crowd gives him a rousing reception. Our thoughts are with the legend in this trying time for him. What a legend, to come back and call the match.

Naomi lands a cross body on her other competitors outside the ring and looks to capitalise by hitting Bliss with a jump from the third rope. However, the wily Bliss counters with a right hand. This didn't stop Naomi, however, as she locks on a submission lock that she hasn't used before.

Naomi wins.

Natalya attempts a sharpshooter on Naomi but is stopped by Carmella. She then gets the two in the lock but the hold is broken up by James.

After she is stopped, Carmella screams at Bliss and is taken out by Natalya. Lynch then goes on an absolute tear and is left alone in the ring until Ellsworth attempts the No Chin music but is instead power-slammed to the mat.

Six Pack challenge for the SmackDown women's Championship:

Alexa Bliss goes after Naomi, while Lynch goes after Carmella. James hits Bliss with a back breaker and has Becky to deal with. Carmella re-enters the ring and slams Lynch, who is on the top rope and goes for the cover.

Goldberg looks stunned, but he's not done yet. He waits for Lesnar to get up again before rushing in for another Spear, but Brock Lesnar leaps over him, leaving him to crash against the turnbuckles.

A stunned Goldberg is grabbed by Lesnar, who proceeds to well and truly take him to Suplex City. The crowd counts along - 10 German Suplexes Brock Lesnar hits on Goldberg. Ten.

He picks up Goldberg, now devoid of fight, and sets up the F5! Brock Lesnar hits Goldberg with a devastating F5.
Cover 1-2-3!

He sends Brock back into the ring and Spears him again! 4 Spears! Goldberg then sets him up and hits the Jackhammer! Cover. 1-2-Brock Lesnar kicks out of the Jackhammer!

Luckily for Brock, instead of writhing around inside the ring, he rolls out and looks to re-find his footing. Goldberg follows him out and NAILS him with a spear onto the barricade!

The bell rings, and right away Brock Lesnar reels off one...two...three German Suplexes. Welcome to Suplex City! But Goldberg no sells it and hits Brock with a Spear!

Brock is stunned! Goldberg hits him with another Spear! This is Deja Vu! This is Survivor Series all over again!
