Armor Stands let players create everlasting monuments of their conquests and other great moments in Minecraft. Memorialize a battle to defend your homeland, create a still life scene or even use these Armor Stands as a makeshift clothes hanger. These little blocks are cheap to create and have a variety of clothing and pose options to choose from.
With so many options to choose from, you may not have many ideas for your creation. However, you can bring stories to life by dressing up the Stand and can even use their equipment to maintain historical accuracy. Craft this recipe: one Smooth Stone Slab in the center bottom row, then create a ‘stick figure’ pose with the Sticks to craft your Armor Stand.
Now that you have crafted your Armor Stand, you can use it to show off some of the epic armor that you have accrued over the course of your adventure. Place this item in an atrium or hallway for maximum effect. By simply placing your armor in the item slot and pressing the ‘use’ key on the Armor Stand, you can place each individual armor piece on the stand.

Q. I need to change the pose of the Armor Stand. How can I do this?
Unexpectedly, this block is powered by Redstone! Changing the power of the Redstone signal connected to this block will change the pose to one of 12 different poses. The redstone power directly correlates to the numbered pose that you decide on.
Armor Stands have so much potential that they often get ignored until late in the game. The late game is when players can get creative in Minecraft as scarcity ceases to become an issue. At that stage, you can refine your defenses and even contribute art to its estate.
