Did you know that the default White Bed in Minecraft can be colored differently? In total, there are 16 colors of beds to choose from. You can use colored Beds for aesthetic purposes, thematic reasons, or even just to tell your room apart from a friend’s. It is easy to color a bed from the default white.
For each color of bed, there is an appropriate dye and to craft a Lime Bed, the player will need at least one Lime Dye. Lime dye can be crafted from smelting a Sea Pickle. Sea Pickles can be found in ocean beds. However, the player will require a furnace for this.
You will need to craft Lime Dye in order to make a Lime Bed.
Interact with a Crafting Table and fill the bottom row of cells of the crafting grid with three Wooden Planks. Then, place three wool in the center row of the crafting grid.
Sea Pickles can be found in any body of warm water.

Lime Sheep.
Sheep will regrow their Wool after eating some grass.

Congratulations! You’ve completed your Bed and can now sleep at night.
At night or during thunderstorms in the Overworld, the player can now sleep in Bed. Sleeping takes 5 seconds to complete and skips until the next morning. Sleeping also changes your spawn point from the world spawn to the location of the bed. However, sleeping can be interrupted if you sleep in an unsafe position. Please ensure you are in a private area before sleeping, or else you may be rudely awakened by enemy mobs. In fact, if you manage to last 3 days without sleeping, you will be haunted by specters until you finally rest. Sleeping is useful because it lets you skip the time where mobs spawn and thus allows you to continue exploring safely.
Q. Is there any other way that I can change the color of my bed?
There are two alternate ways that a player can change the color of their bed in Minecraft. One way is to craft a White Bed and then dye it, and the other option is to directly dye wool. However, the method used in our guide is the most efficient.
Q. Can I teleport to my current bed somehow?
Not through any official gameplay means, unless you die and respawn. If you have cheats enabled then you can type “/spawn.” to teleport to the last used bed in your world.
Coloring your Bed gives no gameplay benefits but can certainly make a player more attached to their base. Typically in multiplayer games, players like to customize their homes and rooms to distinguish their belongings from their co-op partners. Also it is one great way to add color to your room and set it apart from others is by dyeing your bed. No longer will you need to argue about whose bed is whose!
