Minecraft is known for its detailed and player-friendly building mechanics. The amount of freedom and customization options given to players in Minecraft's infinite sandbox world is second to no game.

While many players use this mechanic to make cottages, statues, and other smaller-scale builds, some aim for a more difficult architectural feat in the game. This is sometimes seen in the form of castles.

This article will go over some of those designs in Bedrock Edition.

Top five castle designs for Minecraft Bedrock

5) Medieval Castle

This design includes a grand medieval castle. The colors of the build are based on dark tones and shades. Most of the blocks used for the build are black or gray colored, thereby setting the mood as grim and dark. The build includes a ton of towers, one each for every building in each section of the build.

The walls are built using what seems to be tuff, deepslate, and stone. The roof of each tower is built using deepslate blocks. Chimneys can be seen across the build, with smoke billowing out from them. The decoration for the build includes a ton of flowers, leaves, grass, and a farm at the foot of the structure.

4) Blackstone Castle

As the name suggests, this design has blackstone as its primary building block and looks more like a fortress than a traditional castle. The impressive castle design boasts a foundation and exterior made of blackstone. Additionally, all of its towers and pillars use the same blackstone block.

The inner layer of the castle is made using crimson planks. Four towers can be seen included in the build, with floors built inside them. A small pathway can be seen at the front of the build, which leads up to the castle’s gates. Additionally, a small structure with a copper rooftop can barely be seen inside the courtyard.

3) Castle Megabuild

The castle's design is a mega build and contains a gigantic complex with countless towers and a red-grey color theme. The roof of the main structure and the surrounding towers are made from red concrete powder and other red-colored blocks such as red nether bricks. Mossy cobblestone has been sued for its inner walls and structure.

2) Survival Castle

The castle design has been a few years in the making. Like the previous build, this castle also uses Blackstone as its primary block, with pillars made from stripped warped logs.

A structure made up of various metal blocks can be seen in the middle of the castle and includes diamond, gold, iron, redstone, emerald, and lapis blocks. Other features include balconies on either side of the metal structure and a farm behind the main castle complex.

1) Nether Castle

This Minecraft castle design is based in the Nether dimension. Another structure that uses the ever-popular Blackstone block, this castle has an aura of medieval architecture emitting from every crevice.

The entrance includes some gold and bone blocks, which could replace gargoyles or statues. The interior is made using warped planks, nether bricks, soul lanterns, and iron bars.

The medieval theme is a common one among Minecraft's building community. Castle designs can be seen everywhere. Reddit's many Minecraft-themed subreddits house countless designs for castles by the game's community.
