A blast furnace is a block that, like a furnace, smelts ores, raw metals, iron armor, and equipment but at twice the speed. Tools, guns, and armor are essential items that improve a Minecraft player's ability to survive. The Blast Furnace is simple to make if you have the required materials, which too aren't difficult to obtain.
In a blast furnace, the object is smelted twice as quickly as in a normal furnace, the fuel is consumed at twice the rate, resulting in the same number of objects melted per fuel. The output will then be used to collect the product.
When it comes to Minecraft, a furnace is one of the most recognizable blocks that can be found in the game. It’s a block that is usually acquired within the first few minutes of opening a new world. The furnace works as a basic smelting and cooking device that players can use to turn their mined ores—like iron and gold—into ingots, cook the food they collect from animals around the world, and more.
To craft an iron ingot, you will have to put a piece of iron ore into a furnace. Put the iron ore into the top slot of your furnace and fuel into your bottom like the picture below:
5 Iron ingots are needed so 5 Iron ores will be needed. Iron can only be mined with a stone pickaxe or better; using a wooden or gold pickaxe will not yield any ore. Once it is mined, the user will gain an ore block that they can place, but they will not be able to make any items using the ore. In order to craft an object of iron, it has to be converted into an ingot by smelting it in a furnace.
Stone bricks are some of Minecraft's best construction materials. They are quick to create and come from materials that are relatively easier to obtain. There are many kinds of stone bricks that can be crafted or found. In the world of Minecraft, stone bricks make up much of the houses, ruins, and some hidden sites. Smooth Stone is a kind of stone brick that exists in Minecraft. They are made by smelting stones.
Open your crafting table to begin crafting the blast furnace with the obtained ingredients contained in your inventory. Once you open your crafting table you will have the 3x3 crafting grid similar to the picture below:

Place the iron ingots in an upside U structure as shown in the picture below:
Completely fill the 3rd row with smooth stones.
Finally, place a furnace in the center of the grid. Doing so will result in the blast furnace being produced as the output.
Now that the Blast Furnace has been made, click and drag it to your inventory.
Once an item and a fuel are placed into the blast furnace, the block state changes to lit and the item is smelted twice as fast as a regular furnace with fuel being burnt at twice the rate as well. A hopper can be fed into a blast furnace and can also be used to pick up things from it, much like a regular furnace. These serve as the counterpart to smokers, which are used mainly to cook food faster.
Congratulations! You have made your very own blast furnace. A blast furnace will help you gear up faster and thus assist in fending off the many mobs trying to attack you. Lastly, the materials required for crafting a blast furnace aren’t difficult to obtain either so it's recommended that you make yourself one.
