This week, Bellator MMA is hosting two events at 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.

The two events will see their a combination 8 fights, with 3 fights on the card for the European Series of Bellator Dublin, while there are 5 fights on the card for Bellator 227, later that same night.

The Bellator Dublin card will be headlined by James Gallagher as he will take on Roman Salazar, while on the Bellator 227 card, Benson Henderson will face Myles Jury.

While the format for the two events on the same night might seem unconventional, the stacked cards for both events guarantee there is something for both the UK and Irish audience and the American audience.

Here are 4 fights that you need to see on Bellator Dublin and Bellator 227 this weekend.

#4 James Gallagher vs Roman Salazar

Let's talk about the fight that everyone is waiting for first.

Taking place at the contract weight of 140 lbs, James Gallagher will face Roman Salazar.

John Kavanagh, the man who helped corner and coach Conor McGregor on his road to greatness, is the same man who has taken responsibility of coaching the young fighter. At only 22 years of age, Gallagher has already been bookmarked for greatness and with his 9-1 record, it appears that's exactly what he is on his way to do.

With Kavanagh's help, Gallagher has been able to bounce back from his defeat to Ricky Bandejas with two wins to his name. The man he is facing is no pushover, however.

Former UFC fighter, Roman Salazar is making his debut in Bellator at the highest level by facing James Gallagher in the main event of the European series of Bellator Dublin. A win here for Gallagher will see him grab the 10th win in his professional MMA career.

#3 Kiefer Crosbie vs Hugo Pereira

At Bellator 227, in the co-main event of the night, Kiefer 'Big Daddy' Crosbie will be facing Hugo Pereira in the cage.

Crosbie has seemed completely indomitable ever since he first made his appearance inside the cage, defeating everyone who has come in his way. It was with six wins to his name that he faced Mike Jackson. Unfortunately for him, he would suffer a most unfortunate loss here, as he hit Jackson with an illegal knee, which saw him disqualified and suffer his first-ever loss on his US debut.

Coming off that fight, he will be eager to give Bellator debutant Hugo Pereira a run for his money when the Irish fan-favorite faces him in his own hometown.

#2 Michael 'Venom' Page vs Richard Kiely

Ireland's Richard Kiely will have quite the opportunity in the co-main event of Bellator Dublin.

He will be facing Michael 'Venom' Page and if he emerges victorious, it will ensure that he shoots up in the estimates of fans. Kiely is 3-1 going into this bout, while Bellator veteran, MVP, is coming into this fight on the back of his first-ever career defeat in MMA.

He lost his fight against Douglas Lima and is 14-1. He will look to make things better for himself by decimating Kiely to get back to winning ways.

#1 Benson Henderson vs Myles Jury

At Bellator 227, former UFC Lightweight Champion Benson Henderson will face former UFC fighter, Myles Jury.

The fight is huge for a number of reasons, not the least of which is, this will by Myles Jury's promotional debut in Bellator. It was announced in July of this year that Jury had signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator.

Wanting to make his name in the company, he will face Henderson in what is sure to be a battle of epic proportions. At this point, both men need a win in this fight.

While Henderson has been in Bellator for some time now, he is yet to win a Championship despite multiple attempts. He lost the Bellator Welterweight Championship fight against Andrey Koreshkov. He returned to Lightweight and defeated Patricio Freire and got a Lightweight Championship fight.

Unfortunately, it was not to be, as Michael Chandler defeated him. He lost another fight after that to Patricky Freire.

Since then, Henderson has picked up 3 wins, and a win here might get him another shot at the title.

On the other side of things, Jury lost his last two fights in the UFC. A win here will allow him to start his Bellator career on a really positive note, having defeated a big name.
