5 Female Superstars that can be WWE's Ronda Rousey

Rousey
Rousey has turned into a superstar in the last few years

Many fans in the world of mixed martial arts still idolise Ronda Rousey, despite the fact that she's suffered back to back losses in her last two fights. Her influence on the sport goes beyond anything we've ever seen before, and her initial unbeaten run within the company will always be remembered.

As such, it makes sense that other forms of entertainment would attempt to replicate her success.

Which is where WWE comes in. Following her appearance at WrestleMania 31, it seemed likely that Ronda would one day pursue a professional wrestling career. However, as time goes on that seems less and less likely.

As such, WWE should be looking towards its roster at different Superstars who could take on the role of global superstar that Rousey would've portrayed.

It's not about the size or the look, either. So long as you have a global appeal and the necessary talent to thrive in the ring, anything is possible and all five of these women could easily reach Ronda Rousey levels of greatness within the world of pop culture.

As such, WWE should count itself extremely lucky to possess such a high level of talent. With that being said, let's take a look at five female superstars that can be WWE's Ronda Rousey.

#5 Alexa Bliss

Bliss
Don’t mess with the fiery Bliss

Alexa Bliss is potentially one of the most underrated talents on the WWE payroll. The SmackDown Women's Champion has come on leaps and bounds since her early days down in NXT, and you can see some extremely noticeable improvements within her performances in the ring.

Her character is great, she can play a babyface or heel with ease and she's someone that the WWE Universe connects with.

It doesn't matter whether it's cheers or boos because one way or another Alexa tends to get some solid reactions every time she comes out. Her athletic background leaves her with a thrilling move set in the ring, and her facial expressions help improve the development of the persona that she has created for herself. Simply put, Alexa is money.

Onto a woman who has had her fair share of run-ins with Bliss over the last few months.

#4 Becky Lynch

Lynch
Lynch has a multitude of talents

Whilst she may not have caught fire as many were expecting, Becky Lynch is still by far one of the most highly valued members of the SmackDown roster. She's relatable, she's unique and she has a strong fanbase as evidenced across social media.

She's on the rise in the company and there's no doubt about that, and it's just a case of creating some momentum for her.

After all, she is the one other woman who can lock on an armbar. That alone draws comparisons back to Rousey and if you build that move up to the point where nobody can get out of it, then you've got a real moneymaker on your hands. Lynch isn't the biggest or the baddest, but she's certainly got what it takes to break into the mainstream with her character.

We move over to Raw for this next selection.

#3 Nia Jax

Jax
Jax has the potential to be a huge star in WWE

She's not like most girls, didn't you know?

Nia Jax is an absolute machine and you could milk her for all the marketing goodness that you can get. Either as a destructive monster heel or a tweener, Jax has a great deal of potential in the WWE and the only way is up for her as she continues to improve as the weeks go by on Monday Night Raw.

She's got her connections with The Rock and her unique look to help her along the way, and if you want a believable dominator at the top of the division, then Jax may be your best bet. She's still working towards greatness in the ring, but nobody can deny how much success she's already experienced in such a short space of time.

Give her a year or two and she'll be on top for sure. Down to NXT for our next entry.

#2 Asuka

Asuka
Asuka’s confidence and skill is frightening

Asuka is potentially the most impressive force to ever step foot inside of an NXT ring. She's the longest reigning singles Champion in the brand's history and pretty soon she'll overtake The Ascension for the overall crown as the longest reigning champion ever. She has defeated everyone who has been put in front of her and shows absolutely no signs of slowing down.

So why not continue that momentum?

She could go unbeaten for an outrageous amount of time, with the WWE utilising her global reach to its maximum potential. There is no limit to this woman's abilities and her Japanese background could help the WWE further enter that market. Who knows, maybe Asuka will be the most successful female wrestler in the history of the company.

Then again, our winning pick may have something to say about that.

#1 Charlotte Flair

Charlotte
Charlotte says it best – do it with Flair

Charlotte Flair is the result of genetic perfection.

Everything she does in the ring is absolutely impeccable and there's really no denying the fact that she's been one of the most impressive Superstars in the entire company since the brand split. Her talent speaks for itself and at this point, we, as fans, are running out of superlatives to describe her overall greatness.

It's tough to argue that anyone else deserves the title of "WWE's Ronda Rousey" more than Charlotte. Then again, perhaps we need to go even further than that. Maybe we're looking at someone who, in many ways, is far greater than Ronda Rousey.

Charlotte has already exceeded all expectations that were laid in front of her, and her journey to the top has already been completed.
