UFC -- The Ultimate Fighting Championship -- is the biggest MMA fight promotion in the world.

In the 25+ years of their existence, they have reached where they are now, by dominating the field with excellent fighters in their ranks, performing on a regular basis. They took over PRIDE and Strikeforce, and are miles ahead of their closest competitor -- Bellator MMA.

Given their excellent record in the world of sports, they have a number of fighters among their ranks, who could be considered to be the best fighters in the world.

While that much is a given -- which fighters among them have distinguished themselves on another level altogether?

It's not easy to determine which fighters are the best of all time -- but it is easy to see which fighters have performed the best in their fights in the UFC.

In this article, we will be talking about the 5 UFC Fighters in the current UFC roster, who have won the most fights during their time in the UFC.

#5 Andrei Arlovski

Andrei Arlovski has fought in the UFC a total of 28 times in the span of his two runs in the company.

Arlovski has slowed down of late, with it becoming visibly more and more difficult for him to pick up the wins that mean so much to him. However, in his huge 28-fight career, Arlovski holds the joint record for most wins in the Heavyweight Division of the UFC with Frank Mir.

Not only that, he holds the record for the 5th most wins of any UFC fighter currently signed with the company -- 16.

This is no mean feat, and while he has won only two of his last ten fights, it just goes to show how good he was early on in his career to have picked up so many wins against the top fighters in the UFC.

#4 Jon Jones

A name which has become synonymous with both controversy and success, Jon Jones is without a doubt one of the best UFC fighters to have ever entered an Octagon. In the same breath, it is easy to say, he is also one of the UFC fighters to have done the most damage to his legacy in Mixed Martial Arts.

Throughout his MMA career, he has been able to make sure that he has come away with wins in all but one of his fights which makes his record at 17. This is of course, without talking about his infamous overturned fight against Daniel Cormier.

Having fought and won against the best fighters in the business, including Alexander Gustafsson, Daniel Cormier, Vitor Belfort, and Ryan Bader, to name just a few, Jones has done it all in the UFC.

What's more, he may be about to add another win when he goes up against Anthony Smith at UFC 235.

If he does manage a win there, for once Jon Jones might end up on MMA news and UFC news for the right reasons.

#3 Jim Miller

A veteran of UFC, Jim Miller currently holds the record for the most wins in the UFC Lightweight Division.

He is also the fighter with the record for the 3rd most number of wins in the UFC. His recent run in the company has been anything except impressive, with only one win in his last six fights. However, the veteran of the company has been able to rack up a huge number of wins over the course of his extremely impressive career.

Currently holding 18 wins in UFC, he has been able to rack up the wins early in his career over some of the top fighters that the company has had to offer.

Despite getting so many wins and racking up such an impressive record, Miller is yet to have taken part in a title fight. Now, given his recent track record, it appears that may not be happening anytime soon.

#2 Demian Maia

Demian Maia has been in 35 professional MMA fights in his career.

Possibly one of the most overlooked UFC fighters, Demian Maia has been around in the UFC for a long time, having started his career in 2007.

During all this time, he has been able to pick up some amazing wins. The number of bouts in which he participates is also a huge figure -- with some of the top fighters facing him on a regular basis.

He has faced and defeated, Chael Sonnen, Neil Magny, Ryan LaFlare, and Gunnar Nelson to name just a few.

As seems to be the trend in this list, Maia's recent form has not been the best. In his last four fights he was able to win only one, against Lyman Good. His performances against Tyron Woodley, Kamaru Usman, and Colby Covington, saw him lose, and belie his position as one of the best UFC fighters of all time.

Currently, his record of wins in the UFC stands at 20 fights.

#1 'Cowboy' Donald Cerrone

'Cowboy' Donald Cerrone is according to some the most underrated UFC fighter of all time, while according to a vocal few, he is the best UFC fighter ever to step into the Octagon.

Donald Cerrone is loved by the fans for his affable presence in the UFC Octagon, as well as the exciting nature of most of his fights. Hardly ever featured in 'boring' or 'slow' fights, Cerrone has managed to win over the hearts of the fans while winning his fights at the same time.

He currently is the holder for a number of UFC records. He is the holder of the second most bouts in the UFC after Jim Miller with 30 fights to his name. However, he does hold the record for the most number of finishes as well as the number of times that he has been able to win in the UFC, holding the highest number of wins of any UFC fighter -- 22.
