Bellator 234 took place in Tel Aviv, Israel. As Bellator MMA continued their travels over the globe, their fight in Israel was headlined by Sergei Kharitonov as he took on Linton Vassell.
The card was a stacked one, and once it was done, the results were obvious. There was a pretty big upset on the card as well, with an unexpected fighter getting the win over the heavy favorite. Altogether, it turned out to be quite the impressive showing for Bellator, and without any further, here are the results from the show.

Main card results from Bellator 234
Austin Vanderford vs Grachik Bozinyan
The fight opened with Austin Vanderford dominating early on. He threw leg kicks and misses with a charging looping right that might have won him the fight. Vanderford was lookiong to get the takedown, but could not. Instead, the two battled on their feet, with Vanderford managing to keep control, but eating some big shots all the same.
The second round went rather differently. While Bozinyan was still throwing strikes and shots, Vanderford had more control with leg kicks and hurt Bozinyan's lead leg. He came out swinging and took down Bozinyany, getting the round.
The final round saw Vandergord dominaate yet again, with Bozinyan's strikes and assault blocked, while getting taken down. He stayed on the ground as Vanderford battered him throughout the third round on his way to getting the win.

Haim Gozali vs Artur Pronin
The second fight of the main card lasted only one round. Gozali took the back of Pronin and took him down to the ground of the MMA Octagon early on. Promin tried to get out, but could not, and Gozali then managed to get the mount. He slowly worked his way into full guard, but then they were forced to stand up.
Gozali got in jabs and forced Pronin to the fence. Pronin tried to get momentum by jumping off the cage. But Gozali managed to get up and stopped his takedown attempt. He trapped the arm of Pronin and then transitioned to a heel hook that forced Pronin to tap out.
This was Gozali's retirement fight and he went out with a big win.
Result: Haim Gozali defeated Artur Pronin via Submission (heel hook, Round 1, 4 minutes and 12 seconds)
Aviv Gozali vs Zaka Fatullazade
Much like his father in the Bellator fight before him, Aviv Gozali managed to get the win in his fight in a short and simple fight. He came forward and grabbed the clinch, throwing the knees. He took Fatullazade to the ground and put him in the Anaconda Choke, making him tap quite a number of times before the referee actually saw the result.
Result: Aviv Gozali defeated Zaka Fatullazade via Submission (Anaconda Choke, Round 1, 56 seconds)
Roger Huerta vs Sidney Outlaw
Sidney Outlaw started off fast and hard, going for the takedown and managed to take his opponent down. He kept on top of him but could not really posture up. He went for the back of his opponent, but with 90 seconds left in the round, Huerta got back up to his feet. He got Huerta back down again and managed to take the back of his opponent, moving for an arm triangle.
The second round saw Huerta taken down only eight seconds in. They get back on their feet soon enough, with both men trying to find an opening. Outlaw managed to take down his opponent again twice in the fight, but could not land that final blow that he was looking for in the fight.
The third round saw Huerta trying to finish the fight early. However, body kicks and counters by Outlaw saw Huerta backing off. Huerta threw a kick which Outlaw caught and took him down.
They got back up, for Outlaw to take Huerta down again to get the side control and batter him. They finally get back up, but they could as well have stayed down, as Outlaw got yet another takedown and won the fight at Bellator 234.
Result: Sidney Outlaw defeated Roger Huerta via Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28)
Sergei Kharitonov vs Linton Vassell
The upset of the night came when Linton Vassell entered the Octagon to face Sergei Kharitonov. The two did battle in the main event, with Kharitonov apparently the favorite to win the fight and go on to the title fight, but it was not going to happen.
The first round saw Sergei Kharitonov going for the bigger power shots. He went for the big shots, which, if they had connected, would have seen Kharitonov walking away as the undisputed winner in that fight. However, soon enough, he got taken down and Vassell managed to get the win pummeled Sergei until the end of the first round.
The second round saw Vassell take the back of Kharitonov and pound down on him. That was it as he walked away as the winner while Kharitonov could not answer the shots.
Linton Vassell shocked the world by taking out Sergei Kharitonov, getting the win in the second round via TKO.
