‘The Warrior’ Christian Lee is excited to see welterweight MMA fighter Roberto Soldic make his promotional debut at ONE on Prime Video 5.

The long-awaited ONE debut of Croatian sensation ‘Robocop’ Roberto Soldic is finally set for December 3 against one of the toughest competitors in the division, Dagestani juggernaut Murad Ramazanov.

Keeping a watchful eye on his future competition in Soldic and Ramazanov, Christian Lee admitted to being surprised by ONE Championship’s decision to throw Soldic immediately into the deep end with an undefeated competitor in Ramazanov. ‘The Warrior’ told The MMA Super-Fan in an interview:

“Right away, his first fight in ONE Championship is going to be a test. I’m going to be paying close attention.”

Christian Lee jumped onto the welterweight wagon a few months ago. He moved up a weight class after reclaiming his ONE lightweight world title back in August against South Korean slugger Ok Rae Yoon. Intending to capture double gold this November at ONE on Prime Video 4, Lee is keeping an eye on the biggest challengers in the welterweight division.

Roberto Soldic, in particular, has been the talk of the MMA world. The Croatian is a renowned two-division MMA champion under KSW, boasting 17 KOs in 20 overall victories.

Not only is he a proficient striker, but his judo is just as good as his standup. Fans are expecting Soldic to punch his ticket to a ONE world title soon.

Christian Lee believes stepping into the circle with Kiamrian Abbasov will be his biggest moment to date

Fresh off his world title match for the lightweight belt, Christian Lee believes overcoming adversities has forged him into a stronger and more competitive fighter.

Settling into a new weight class, Lee faces his newest challenge in a bigger and more powerful world champion in Kiamrian Abbasav on November 18. Ready to test the waters in the new division, Lee is grateful for the opportunity to win double gold under the only promotion he’s ever fought for. He told ONE:

“Every performance is your biggest performance. And going into his fight, this is everything. Everything that I’ve worked towards, has led to this moment, so yeah, definitely. This is going to be my biggest moment to date.”
