In the latest interview with TMZ Sports, UFC Hall of Famer Chuck Liddell teased a potential return to the world of Mixed Martial Arts as he claimed that he likes to stay in shape from time-to-time because of a possible return to the MMA cage in the near future.

Former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck Liddell is considered to be one of the most exceptional MMA fighters of all time, with a career record of 21 wins-to-8 losses. Liddell made his MMA debut under the UFC banner back in 1998 as part of UFC 17 and for his debut fight, he earned himself an impressive decision win over Noe Hernandez.
Throughout his UFC career, Liddell has competed in some of the most high-profile fights against some of the best fighters of his generation. His wins over the likes of Wanderlei Silva and Randy Couture remain as some of the most memorable moments in Liddell’s 12-year career.
The heart of the matter
Chuck Liddell was recently a guest on the television series called Celebrity Big Brother and even during his time with the reality TV show, the former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion displayed a tremendous training routine.
While recently speaking with TMZ Sports, Liddell opened up about his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house and was asked why he was training in there, to which the 48-year-old responded by stating that he likes to keep himself in shape at all times because deep down in his heart he still believes that there is a possible return to MMA for “The Iceman”.
“It’s still a possibility, for sure. So I didn’t want to get too far out of shape. I was in there boxing the whole time. There’s a lot of stuff that they didn’t show but I was just having a good time in there and staying in shape. I’m staying ready," Liddell stated.
What’s next?
Liddell hasn’t stepped into the UFC Octagon since the year 2010, when he suffered a third-round knockout loss to Rich Franklin at UFC 115, however, ever since hanging up his boots, Liddell has claimed that he is indeed interested in a comeback fight, but, as of right now nothing has been confirmed just yet on Liddell’s possible return to the MMA cage.
Liddell has additionally proposed two potential fights against Chael Sonnen or Tito Ortiz for his comeback.

I personally think that Chuck Liddell has already done a lot for the MMA World and there is nothing left for him to achieve and in my opinion, the best decision for “The Iceman” would be to stay away from the Octagon.
