Thus when fighters recover and return to the Octagon, it is always a big deal. Matt Brown is set to finally return to the Octagon following 2 years away due to injury. He is set to be a part of upcoming UFC PPV, UFC 245.


Matt Brown to return to UFC

UFC fighter Matt Brown is finally returning to the Octagon after spending more than two years on the sidelines.

Heading into his last fight against Diego Sanchez, Matt Brown had been on a 3-fight losing streak, and 36-years-old at the time, Matt Brown had been thinking about retiring and had said that the fight might be his last.

After a first-round Knockout win, he decided that he had more in him. He was set to take on Carlos Condit in early April. However, at the time, he suffered an ACL injury, and had to back out of the fight. Ever since then, he has been in recovery.

Now, the ever fan-favorite Matt Brown is returning to the Octagon at UFC 245. He has been scheduled to face 'Killa B' Ben Saunders at the event.

MMA Junkie confirmed the news of the return and the fight after the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported it initially.
