In the aftermath of his historic win over Nate Diaz at UFC 244 for the inaugural BMF Championship, Jorge Masvidal now finds himself on the verge of a potential dream fight against Nate's older brother Nick Diaz, who might possibly step out of retirement in order to go head-to-head against 'Gamebred'.
Masvidal excited about a potential fight against Nick Diaz
Reigning BMF Champion Jorge Masvidal was recently in conversation with Brendan Schaub on Food Truck Diaries and during the interaction between the pair, Masvidal stated that the idea of a potential fight against the legendary Nick Diaz certainly excites 'Gamebred'. (H/T: MMA Junkie)
“If he’s got that fire lit under him, I know we’re going to have a fight. I know Nick’s a dog. He’s going to take whatever I can give, and I’m going to give him everything that I got to hit the off button, to turn him off, as well, so I’m excited for the fight."
Additionally, Masvidal said that he does know for a fact that Nick wants to hurt the former and will be looking forward to avenging his brother's loss. Therefore, a fight against the older Diaz brother is what pumps up Jorge Masvidal.
