Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior dos Santos was recently in conversation with MMA Fighting and during the interview, the hard-hitting heavyweight fighter claimed that he's more than willing to face Boxing sensation Tyson Fury once in MMA, and once inside a boxing ring.

Junior dos Santos open to fighting Tyson Fury

While speaking with MMA Fighting, Junior dos Santos stated that up for fighting undefeated boxer Tyson Fury once in MMA and once in boxing, as the former UFC Heavyweight Champion believes it would be a great moment for both sports.

Both. I’d do both. It would be perfect to fight Tyson Fury in MMA, as he wishes, and then, with a win over him, fight him in boxing, in his world. He would come to my world and then I would go to his world. It would be the pinnacle, a great moment for both sports.

Fury, who recently has been training with Darren Till for his MMA debut, is currently competing under the WWE banner but will be returning to the Boxing ring in February as he is set for a rematch against Deontay Wilder. When asked about a potential transition to MMA for Fury, this is what 'Cigano' had to say:

I don’t think he comes (full time) to MMA, but I think he’ll fight once. It would be very interesting. I see the UFC going that direction as well with Zuffa Boxing and Dana White being a huge boxing fan. We saw him meeting Floyd Mayweather again, and that’s extremely beneficial for all of us. It would be a great opportunity for me. I’ve always dreamed with the opportunity of fighting a great boxer. It’s my area, it’s where I feel most comfortable.
