On a recent episode of Michael Bisping's Believe You Me podcast, top UFC Lightweight contender Justin Gaethje decided to do a breakdown of the upcoming, reportedly confirmed fight between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson.

Justin Gaethje gives his take on Nurmagomedov vs Ferguson

While speaking on the Believe You Me podcast along with former UFC Middleweight Champion Michael Bisping, Justin Gaethje said that he thinks Nurmagomedov is going to be the eventual winner of a fight between him and Ferguson.

However, Gaethje also believes that Ferguson will bring his absolute best when he steps into the Octagon with 'The Eagle'. (H/T: MMA Junkie)

I do think Khabib will win. But I do think Tony is going to bring some … I don’t know if he’s going to lay on his back and throw elbows, I don’t know what the hell is going to happen there.

Furthermore, Gaethje also spoke about Nurmagomedov's brutal style of fighting and also opened up on Ferguson's resiliency inside the Octagon, as he spoke on how much the latter gets hit during his fights in the Octagon.

'The Highlight' also added that he will be keeping an eye out for Ferguson's jiu-jitsu and if it plays a factor in the fight, while also keeping an eye out for El Cucuy's persistence of wanting to continue the fight despite being at the bottom.

Especially the way Khabib fights, and the way Khabib wins. It’s crazy how much and how hard Tony gets hit, how often he gets hit at fights but I don’t think that’s going to be a problem for him in this fight because Khabib is not going to be looking to exploit that, that option. He’s going to do what he does. I’m really interested to see if Tony, his jiu-jitsu, for one, plays a factor, and for two, just his tenaciousness of being on bottom and still wanting to fight.”
