Khabib Nurmagomedov is facing what many believe to be the toughest challenge of his career and from the sound of things, the Russian considers it to be exactly that. One of the biggest things that make watching Nurmagomedov a spectacle is his unparalleled dominance and how he faces little to no adversity in his fights.

While he hasn't been perfect, he's been nearly as perfect as one could get in UFC, winning every single round that he's fought except for one against Conor McGregor. Nurmagomedov has recently been doing media in Uzbekistan and Dagestan to promote his upcoming fight against Tony Ferguson on April 18th and thanks to Twitter user MMARusContext, we found out a couple of interesting things that Nurmagomedov said about his upcoming and past fights.

He said that he plans to train harder for this fight since he has a very "worthy" opponent in Tony Ferguson. He also added an interesting bit, saying that he wasn't that motivated in his past few fights, which per the translation, also seemed to include Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor and Al Iaquinta (who was Tony Ferguson's last-minute replacement in 2018).

Ferguson has motivated Khabib Nurmagomedov more than any previous opponent. The two men are in an interesting place where they both respect each others' incredible abilities yet aren't exactly shaking hands or hugging each other. However, there's only so much we can say about this fight that hasn't already been said.

There's always going to be a sense of anxiety until April 18th and until the two men are locked in the Octagon. Until then, fans are probably going to hope and pray that neither men suffer any injury or any issue that will prevent the fight from happening for the fifth time. Who will walk out victorious?
