Toyota Etios motor racing finale returns to Buddh International Circuit

Fans can expect a terrific racing weekend at the Buddh International Circuit

New Delhi, September 26th, 2014: After an excellent start to the second season of Toyota Etios Motor Racing (EMR) Trophy in Coimbatore earlier this year, the much awaited finale is scheduled for the 27th& 28th of September 2014. 15 young & enthusiastic drivers will fight it out for the second edition of the EMR Trophy being held along with the third & fifth rounds of the National Racing Championship this year. Displaying their driving skills at this renowned international circuit will be EMR drivers Ashish Ramaswamy, Gokul Krishna, Chintan Shah, Hari Nambiar, Advait, Simran Sood, Ashika Menezes, Vidyuth, Sree, Prashanth , Varun V Anekar, Dean Mascarenhas, Mezaan Anees, Hisham & Hashim. Currently Dean Mascanrenhas is leading the championship followed by Varun Anekar and debutant Gokul Krishna. Currently Dean Mascanrenhas leads the championship, followed by Varun & Gokul.

Paresh, Executive Director, Uttam Toyota along with Diljith who is the current EMR Trophy Champion 2013 amidst other distinguished guests. EMR Trophy 2014 is being organized along the FMSCI National Racing Championship for the second year in a row. The EMR Series is based on a single-make racing championship platform. The Etios cars are specially modified for racing using specialized racing equipment supplied by TRD (Toyota Racing Development, Japan) ensuring highest standards of performance and safety. These EMR cars not only exhilarate technological prowess of Toyota but also the endurance levels of the Etios and the ‘fun to drive’ aspect of the vehicle.

To engage racing enthusiasts and Toyota customers in the Etios Motor Racing 2014, Toyota had introduced “The EMR Slogan Writing Contest”, giving customers a chance to win prizes such as iPads as well as a chance to sit in the Etios race car and get a feel of the race through Hot Laps at the BIC, Gr. Noida. Curtains will draw on this year’s event with an energetic LIVE performance by one of India’s most popular playback-singers, Shaan to enthuse our customers post the EMR Trophy on 28th September at the BIC, Gr. Noida.
