Kanpu was the only male head member of the Konoha Orphanage, located at the border of Konohagakure. He was the head of the Orphanage, which Kabuto Yakushi is now in charge of.
Kanpu is one of the supporting characters in the Naruto anime series and manga that was written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.

Kanpu was the only male head member of the Konoha Orphanage. Kanpu, Keiri and Nono Yakushi were talking about the difficulties they had running the Konoha Orphanage because of lack of money, Kabuto heard the conversation.
When Keiri was scolding, Kanpu defended Kabuto and told Keiri that he is still young, so he could not tell, but when Nono gave Kabuto glasses, he immediately told the time, after that Kampu said that this boy is smarter than the kids of his age. Later on, when Danzo Shimura came to the orphanage to find a new recruit for Root, Kanpu was furious when Danz threatened to take the limited Orphanage funds orphanage which they collected if they didn’t agree to Danzo's terms.
Kanpu is a kind and caring person, and is also shown to be brave as he tries to defend his Orphanage kids when Danzo comes to take them. Kanpu seemed to be a logical person who didn’t blindly follow his heart.
Kanpu is an old man that wear brown rectangular specs. He has grey hair, a beard, and a mustache. Kanpu wears a black and white Konoha orphanage outfit.
