Who can use all 5 chakra natures?

The five basic Nature Transformations consist of Fire, Water, Lightning, Wind, and Earth, which are the elemental chakra natures and form the foundation.

Each element is naturally weaker or stronger than the other, like Fire is weak against Water but strong against Wind, Wind is strong against Lightning and weak against Fire, Lightning is strong against Earth and weak against Wind, Earth is strong against Water and weak against Lightning, and Water is strong against Fire and weak against Earth.

There are only a few Naruto characters who use all five nature transformation techniques via normal means.

Hagoromo Otsutsuki

Hagoromo Otsutsuki was the Sage of Six Paths and thus was a legendary god-like shinobi. He was named the Sage of Six Paths when he became a priest and he traveled around the world giving chakra to everyone while spreading his ideals and religion.

He was also known as the 'Savior of the World' due to his good deeds and his desire to stop the war. Hagoromo's wish was to bring ultimate peace throughout the world, but he knew this goal could not be completed during his lifetime so he entrusted his dream to his sons Indra and Asura.

While teaching his sons, Hagoromo noticed that the elder one, Indra, was a prodigy who could quickly grasp anything and had natural talent. Hagoromo was inspired by his younger son and decided to separate his Ten-tails chakra from his body and divide it into nine separate bodies, thus creating the tailed beasts. Due to extracting the ten tails all at once, Hagoromo became very weak and relied on the chakra left in the husk of the ten tails.

Hagoromo had powerful and large chakra reserves. He was the first person to be born with it and understand its nature. Without training, he had precise chakra control and did not need the help of hand seals. Hagoromo was the first person to master all five nature transformations.

Hashirama Senju

Hashirama did not approve of this practice of sending children to fight and die, as he believed that it would only increase the bitterness between the Senju and Uchiha, thus causing more deaths. After the deaths of two of his brothers, Hashirama and Tobirama decided a new shinobi system would need to be implemented to end the cycle of child deaths.

However, this system would require an alliance between the Senju and Uchiha. When they met in battle, Madara put an end to their friends so that it would not cause any hindrance to their battle. Over the following years, Hashirama and Madara continued to meet in combat. Hashirama could never bring himself to kill someone he still considered a friend, and Madara could never defeat Hashirama's superior abilities.

Unable to find the resolve to kill his childhood friend, Hashirama tried to convince Madara to unite their two clans to make their childhood dreams a reality. However, Madara was unwilling to accept this, after Tobirama killed his last brother, Izuna. Filled with grief, the two fought again, but Madara lost.

At Madara's suggestion, Hashirama offered to kill himself to achieve a peaceful resolution. As he was about to end his own life, Madara stopped him as the gesture moved him, and accepted peace. The Senju, the Uchiha, and all their affiliated clans came together to found a village of peace, where children would never need to die in battle. Before his death, Hashirama passed the title of Hokage to Tobirama and instructed him not to mistreat the Uchiha.

Hashirama possessed a powerful life force and physical energy. This made his chakra very strong, and it would sometimes affect his surroundings when released. Hashirama's chakra also allows him enough stamina to fight nonstop for a day. Alongside mastering all five nature transformations Hashirama also learned the Yin and Yang Release.

He was most famous and known for his use of Wood Release, a combination of earth and water chakra. Hashirama could completely change the landscape of his surroundings.

Tobirama Senju

Tobirama was Hashirama's younger brother and the Second Hokage of the Hidden Leaf village. Hashirama appointed his brother to be his successor before his death and instructed him not to mistreat the Uchiha. Like the Hokage, Tobirama made his village value their clans above anything else.

Not only that, he created the Academy, Anbu, and the Chunin exams. For the Uchiha clan, he created the Konoha Police Force, but the only reason for doing this was to ensure that the Uchihas would invest their energy into something beneficial, rather than being chaotic, according to Tobirama.

He also did his best to establish a good and peaceful relationship with the other villages. Before dying in the war, he passed on the title of Hokage to Hiruzen Sarutobi. Tobirama mastered all five nature transformations along with Yin and Yang Release.

He is quite exceptional in Water Release which helped him create large quantities of things without a water source and he can use it at any time. He can even cover an entire field with water, can change its shape and can also potentially kill his enemies using the same.

Hiruzen Sarutobi

Hiruzen was the son of Sasuke Sarutobi and he was a prodigy who trained under Hashirama Senju. At one point, Danzo became jealous of Hiruzen and started considering him his rival. During the First Shinobi War, Tobirama led a team consisting of Hiruzen, Homura, Koharu, and Danzo.

When Hiruzen volunteered to be a decoy for a suicidal cause, Tobirama was impressed by him and appointed him as the Third Hokage before dying by being the decoy himself. Once Hiruzen was Hokage, he appointed Danzo to create Root, a subdivision of Anbu - a ruthless organization created to balance things out.

After getting married, he started leading his team which consisted of Orochimaru, Tsunade, and Jiraiya. He led his army through the Second and Third Shinobi Wars, and at the end of the war, he signed a peace treaty with Iwagakure. Hiruzen hoped that Orochimaru would be his successor, and he tried to save his student from going on the wrong path, but he failed.

Hiruzen then selected Minato to succeed him and helped him transition into the role of Hokage. After the Nine-Tails' attack on the Hidden Leaf Village and Minato's subsequent death, Hiruzen went back to the role of Hokage, keeping his promise to look after Naruto.

Hiruzen did his best to peacefully sort out the accusations that were made against the Uchiha clan, saying that they were responsible for the Nine-Tails attack. Hiruzen is one of the few who could harness all the five elements of nature transformations; he can easily counter and intercept any enemy's attack irrespective of their chakra nature. He can also produce powerful streams of Lightning, Water and Wind Release too.

Orochimaru

Orochimaru was a part of team Hiruzen along with Jiraiya and Tsunade. Hiruzen thought of Orochimaru as a prodigy that was only seen once in a generation due to his talents, insights, and determination. During the Second Great Shinobi, they were battling Hanzo, who gave the trio title of Three Legendary Sannin.

This was as a reward for surviving their battle with him while the rest of their group was easily killed in the process. However, that wasn’t enough for Orochimaru and he started learning about various forbidden cursed techniques. He even kidnapped a few shinobis and used them as guinea pigs to help him develop techniques to attain immortality.

Orochimaru’s knowledge and skill in ninjutsu are greater than any other existing shinobis, which means that he has a vast number of skills and techniques. His learnings of the forbidden techniques also help him have access to knowledge that not a lot of people have.

Orochimaru is skilled in all five basic nature transformations like wind release and Earth release, and he can also use the yin and yang release.

Kakashi Hatake

Kakashi was a prodigy in his time and studied under Minato Namikaze alongside Rin Nohara and Obito Uchiha. He was naturally talented and popular and after defeating Guy in the chunin exams, he became a chunin. During the Third Shinobi War, Kakashi lost Rin and Obito and he became very depressed.

He then joined Anbu and became a mindless killing machine which Minato noticed and wanted to help him. In order to do so, he gave him the task of protecting a pregnant Kushina, which he did diligently. To help his friend, Guy recommended Kakashi to the Third Hokage, to lead a genin team.

Kakashi was thus the leader of a genin team consisting of Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. Kakashi became the 6th Hokage after Pain attacked the village when Tsunade went into a coma temporarily. After the Fourth Great Shinobi War, he became the Hokage permanently.

Kakashi is a prodigy and one of the strongest Shinobi in Konoha. His combat and tactical abilities are exceptional. He mostly relies on Ninjutsu, and once he acquired the Sharingan, his arsenal of techniques grew more and more as he had over a thousand jutsus mastered.

Not only that, he is very proficient in all five Nature Transformations. He is a natural at Lightning Release, and he can transfer it to weapons and use it to increase its powers.
