For a decade, the Jags have dominated the bottommost ranks of the NFL. However, they have come into 2017 firing on all cylinders most recently with a massive 37 point win over a solid Ravens team. Due to 3 solid past drafts and the signing of impactful free agents, the 2017 Jaguars are a team to take notice of.

The Jaguars selected Lenord Fournette with the number 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft. It has been clear to see his impact has immediately been felt. In the first 3 games of the NFL season, he has accumulated 199 rushing yards, 66 receiving yards and scored a touchdown in each game for a total of three. With the Jaguars newfound run game, Blake Bortles has much more time in the pocket then he's ever had before opening up new possibilities for this Jaguars offense.

With the Jaguars running game proving successful Blake Bortes now has time like he's never had before to make plays from the pocket. Not only this but after a few years in the league (drafted 3rd overall in 2014), he has finally been able to grow and develop into one of the leaders on the offense. His stats speak for themselves - 592 passing yards, 6 TDs, and a QbRAT of 93.8. He has finally started to become all of what Jacksonville expected him to be.

The 2017 Jags defense is filled with new acquisitions and big names. A totally revamped defense line including Calais Campell has finally been able to put opposing Qb's under pressure. Jaylen Ramsey is finally injury free and playing some of the best football of his career, not only are individuals stepping up but the defense is playing as a unit looking comfortable with many different sets and formations.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are one of the closest teams in the NFL. You rarely hear of any locker room disputes from the organization. This team is old school in the sense they conduct business behind the doors of the locker room and not through social media or press release statements. From the Jaguars you get a true sense of unity and everyone knows are well built close-knit team will beat a group of individuals any day.
