Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em Week 12: Quarterback rankings

Atlanta Falcons v Dallas Cowboys
Atlanta Falcons v Dallas Cowboys

Here are the fantasy football quarterback rankings for Week 12. Things are likely beginning to heat up for fantasy owners, as the playoffs are only a handful of short weeks away. That being said, quarterbacks can make a world of difference in tipping the scales week by week. This week should provide some excellent matchups, especially on Thanksgiving.

Week 12 fantasy football quarterback rankings: Start 'Em

Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys vs. Las Vegas Raiders

Don't be dissuaded by the fact that Dak had a terrible game against the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Sometimes, the best quarterbacks have bad days. Even on a short break, Dak Prescott should do well against the Las Vegas Raiders defense. The Raiders are currently averaging 21 points to opposing quarterbacks and have surrendered 18 passing TDs.

What is even more alluring is that the Raiders are currently giving up an average of 232 passing yards per game. Dak will have a nice game, especially with the Cowboys experience on Thanksgiving.

Mac Jones, New England Patriots vs. Tennesee Titans

With the way that Mac Jones is playing and the Titans defense is playing, this should be a no-brainer. The Titans, despite being the best team in the AFC, are currently giving up an average of 22 points per game to fantasy quarterbacks.

Mac Jones has had five touchdowns in his last three games, and the Titans are currently giving up an average of 1.6 TDs per game. This is going to be a great matchup for Mac Jones owners.

Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Indianapolis Colts

The Indianapolis Colts are playing some great football, but Tom Brady is Tom Brady. He leads the league in nearly every passing category for quarterbacks. Even with their winning streak, the Colts are giving up an average of 23 fantasy points to quarterbacks. They are surrendering 2.3 TDs per game as well.

This matchup might be one of the best of the week. Tom Brady should have no issues carving up this weak Colts defense.

Week 12 fantasy football quarterback rankings: Sit 'Em

Sit 'Em quarterbacks for Week 12.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans vs. New England Patriots

Ryan Tannehill had one of the worst games of his career as he lobbed four interceptions in the Titans' embarrassing loss to the Houston Texans. Things shouldn't be any better this week for Tanny, as the Patriots are one of the stingiest defenses for quarterbacks right now.

The Patriots defense is currently in the top three in the league when it comes to fantasy points. Quarterbacks are only averaging 13 points a week. Sit Tannehill this week and let him struggle on the bench.

Trevor Siemian, New Orleans Saints vs. Buffalo Bills

Trevor Siemian had a decent game last week against the Eagles when he threw for 3 TDs and 214 passing yards. But the Bills are much more consistent on defense barring their odd loss to the Colts.

Don't let Carson Wentz's game against the Bills inaccurately predict that Seimian will also have a good game. The Bills defense is still #1 in fantasy points given to opposing quarterbacks. The Bills defense only allows 11 points to quarterbacks on average. Don't depend on Siemian.

Ben Roethlisberger, Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The Steelers and Ben Roethlisberger are as up and down as any team gets in the NFL. They will play the Bengals, who are in top 10 in defense against opposing quarterbacks. The Bengals defense is averaging 18 points in fantasy to quarterbacks, so Big Ben could have his hands full.

The Bengals also play tough against division rivals, and that is always the case when it comes to the Steelers. Even though Big Ben threw 3 TDs in their loss to the Chargers, the Bengals will not be as generous. Their defense can be a nightmare against opposing quarterbacks.
