"Y’all really sent my guy to Cleveland!" - Dak Prescott's brother livid at Cowboys' decision to trade Amari Cooper to Browns

As you can tell, many Dallas Cowboys fans are unhappy that the team traded Amari Cooper to the Cleveland Browns.

Amari Cooper has played a huge role in the Cowboys offense these last few years. The team trading him to the Cleveland Browns did not sit well with Cowboys fans.

One of those fans is Dak Prescott's brother Tad, who posted this about Amari Cooper on Twitter:

"Cleveland? y’all really sent my guy to Cleveland!You will be missed 1-9 best route runner in the game, top 3 WR @AmariCooper9"

He isn't the only one who feels this way. Many Cowboys fans were unhappy when news broke that the team was going to trade Cooper to the Browns.

They believe what Jerry Jones and the organization did to Cooper was unfair, and some suggested that the player who should have been traded or cut loose was running back Ezekiel Elliot. The veteran back's production went down during the 2021 season, although he did finish the campaign with over 1000 rushing yards.

Shockingly, the one player we haven't heard from is Dak Prescott. The quarterback has stayed quiet since the Amari Cooper trade, which makes you wonder if their relationship was strained at the end as its been reported?

Why didn't Dak Prescott stand up for Amari Cooper?

Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has been quiet about Amari Cooper. He hasn't said anything about the trade and there are rumors floating that the pair had a falling out after this past season.

Reports suggest that Cooper called out Prescott after the playoff loss to the 49ers, which may explain why he didn't stand up for the star wide out when trade talks began.

Part of the friction may also be because back in December, Cooper complained about Prescott not getting him the ball more often:

“I got to be honest, it actually does [bother me). I feel like I could be a huge part of (fixing the offense), so that’s what frustrates me."

Cooper also spoke about the team's lack of explosiveness:

"Yeah, we’re winning, but the defense is playing a huge part in that. We’re not really as explosive as we should be. We’re not converting a lot of their turnovers into touchdowns. A lot of them are field goals.''

He didn't directly call out Prescott, but hinted towards what he thought the problem was. Either way, it doesn't matter, as Cooper is with the Browns now and Prescott is still king in Dallas.
