Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady knows a thing or two about unretiring. The 44-year-old sensationally called it a career at the end of last season, but his retirement only lasted 40 days.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion has since convinced others to come out of retirement as well. Brady managed to coax famous actress Cameron Diaz, who retired from acting back in 2018, to make a return for Jamie Foxx's upcoming film "Back in Action".

Foxx recorded the conversation that took place between himself, Diaz and Brady.

As expected, NFL fans were quick to weigh in on the situation, with one fan opining that Diaz is back acting only because she is financially broke:

"She is financially broke, this is why she is back acting."

One user said that he will be watching the movie based off of the call alone.

A user named Oskar called the audio "fantastic" and said that movies needed Cameron Diaz.

Another user tweeted that they were glad to see Diaz returning to the big screen.

As mentioned above, Tom Brady knows a thing or two about retiring and making a comeback. The 44-year-old will return for a 23rd season in the NFL and his third with Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are in good shape heading into the 2022-23 season, having retained the majority of their roster from the previous year.

With Brady back at the helm, it would not be wise to bet against the Buccaneers securing another Super Bowl trophy.

The former New England signal caller led the Bucs to the title in his first season with the team in 2020-21. But they failed to defend their crown after being beaten by eventual champions Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round this past season.
