Ryan McKenna became famous five years ago when he took a selfie with Justin Timberlake in the middle of the halftime show at Super Bowl LII. He is back in the news now, but not for the best reasons.

According to TMZ, he was arrested the day before Super Bowl LVII on a felony charge. The arrest report says he was drunk and hitting his friend inside a California Pizza Kitchen in a shopping center in Naples, Florida. Ryan got into an argument with a 15-year-old friend before standing up and yelling obscenities at his friend's girlfriend.

The police tried to talk to the 15-year-old, but Ryan, who was drunk, kept interrupting them, to the point where the cops had to calm him down and tell him to go away while they discussed the issue with the boy.

As the shopping center's security asked the police to remove Ryan from the building, the police report said his behavior turned aggressive and he tried to get closer to his 15-year-old friend. The cops tried to calm him down, but the selfie kid continued to try to approach his friend, while taking the cops' hands away from his chest.

This is when the police handcuffed him. As he resisted, officers took him to the ground. He again tried to resist, but he finally gave up and put his hands behind his back, getting cuffed.

His mom provided a different version to TMZ:

"(Ryan McKenna's mom says) her son was NOT drunk and he was just horsing around with his friends at CPK. She says one of Ryan's friends pulled a chair out from under him and that's when he pushed the table, trying to be funny."

Who is Ryan McKenna?

He's a New England Patriots fan who became famous out of nowhere when he took a selfie with Justin Timberlake in front of more than 100 million viewers during Timberlake's Super Bowl LII halftime show.

McKenna was 13 at the time. He's now 18 and, after the selfie with Timberlake, he was able to take pictures with many other stars, including Shawn Mendes, Iggy Azalea and Hailey Bieber. But it all started with a Super Bowl halftime show.
