Davante Adams will miss the Green Bay Packers' Week 6 matchup against the Detroit Lions as he continues to deal with a toe injury.

Green Bay coach Matt LaFleur told reporters Adams would not be fit to take part in Monday's match.

The game will be the second Adams has missed after being diagnosed with turf toe. He was seen at Packers practice this week but did not participate.

Adams was injured during a Week 4 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth quarter, watching the end of the game from the sidelines in what he described as "a little bit of pain".

The Packers played well without Adams last week, beating the Dallas Cowboys 34-24, with tight end Jimmy Graham and receivers Geronimo Allison and Marquez Valdes-Scantling expected to get more targets in his absence.

Adams, selected in the second round of the 2014 draft, was quarterback Aaron Rodgers' top target as he had 25 receptions for 378 yards through the first four weeks of the season.
