Raheem Mostert was one of the best players on the Miami Dolphins roster in the 2023 NFL season, scoring 21 total touchdowns (18 rushing touchdowns and three receiving scores) and surpassing the 1,000 rushing yard threshold with 1,012.

This season, the picture looks completely different for the veteran, whose role in the team has vanished as younger players have taken over.

De'Von Achane has become the No. 1 option for Mike McDaniel this campaign and rookie Jaylen Wright has offered an intriguing alternative to Achane, relegating Mostert to a lesser role. If you're trying to play Mostert this week, perhaps think again before making that decision.

Raheem Mostert's fantasy projection for Week 13

With his diminished role, Mostert isn't expected to put on good numbers against the Green Bay Packers on Thursday. The veteran is projected to carry the ball three times for an 11-yard gain, one reception for six receiving yards and 3.28 fantasy points.

He's played eight games this season, carrying the ball 60 times for 217 rushing yards, numbers that aren't even close to what he did last season. One would think that Tua Tagovailoa's return could somehow help Mostert, but he's coming off two games with three and two touches, respectively, first recording negative-two rushing yards and then five.

The Dolphins are facing a dangerous team at Lambeau Field, as they keep trying to get closer to the NFL playoffs. Perhaps using Mostert over Wright could be a good option, but as things stand now, the Dolphins and several fantasy managers should look to decide on Mostert's future.

Should I keep Raheem Mostert on my fantasy team?

Given the lack of usage this season and how the Dolphins have put the ball in the hands of two other players, it's not even safe to keep Mostert on the bench of your fantasy team. He should be headed to waivers ahead of this Week 13 matchup.

Miami is one win away from hitting the .500 mark and entering the race for the final playoff spot. With Tagovailoa back, they have won three consecutive wins, beating the LA Rams (23-15), Las Vegas Raiders (34-19) and New England Patriots (34-15).

The weather likely won't be friendly for passers as well, which could open the door for Mostert, but as of right now, that is a long shot.
